This is one of the best documentaries I’ve seen on the Eames’ design sense and furniture projects. I really enjoyed this. It’s so wonderful that the legacy of Ray and Charles Eames has been safeguarded for future generations. (And I’m very happy to see alternatives to leather being used now in some of these pieces!) Thank you to all on the Vitra team!

In my Humble Opinion : Although trying to be Minimalist & Agile, it Ended up looking Ugly & Cluttered, also Fragile.

Last year I visited the Vitra Campus and this year I'm going back in 15 days. I like it very much !!! . In June I will be in Los Angeles, but the price of the visit to the Eames House makes the visit prohibitive.

Funktioniert leider nicht so leicht wie im Video, trotz Tuch habe ich jetzt kleine Schrammen und der Gleiter hat sich zwar bewegt, konnte aber nicht abgezogen werden. Und wer hat schon immer eine Wasserpumpenzange zur Hand um einen Gleiter zu wechseln? Gibt es da nichts besseres heutzutage?

Just bought a brand new physix chair this weekend. 2 days later it is already completely scratched at the arm rests. Chair is covered in soft lacquer type material. As you definitely will touch the desk with the arm rests, beware that you will inevitably destroy your designer chair.
