Do I have to connect the power supply even if I don't want to charge it? Can I connect an SSD like this?

Right after I received the macbook I bought, youtube recommended this.

This video is literally pointless. What was the purpose of you literally showing us the parts with no setup? Awful

Thank you for viewing the video entitled "UNBOXING" rather than "SETUP."

Is this better or worse than the 18-in-1 dock? This item is what I got from woot and they advertised the 18 version which has HDMI ports that I really could have used instead of only a display port.

Your description above forgets the batteries, if they are rechargeable or not, how long they might last.

Thank you, Yes, 2 AAA batteries included / not rechargeable. The batteries last a long time, for 5-7 months; I use this microphone 4-5 times a month for 3-4 hours.

Actually saved me twice and some of my neighbors already. This can quickly jump small and big cars like Toyota Tundra, Ford F350...

im looking at getting my first camera to move away from my iPhone for photography. I'm debating buying something like the Sony A7iii but im curious to know if you think its worth saving up a bit more to go all out and buy something like a Sony A7RIV that I can grow into. Realistically I don't want to be upgrading camera body for a few years after buying my first one.

Hello Peter, I will recommend saving to buy A7RIV, this is the best camera for photography with a 4K video option. I don't think that you will want to upgrade this camera.

@@AlexVakulin Okay thanks a lot for the suggestion! The main reason I was considering the A7RIV was the ability to crop and recompose images due to the high pixel count. Hopefully I can find one in stock

@@PTR2K There is more than pixel crop in this camera... you will be shocked by this camera performance.

@@AlexVakulin yeah I’m currently torn between the A7IV and the A7RIV. I first seen the A7RIV when someone I watch on KZbin (North Borders) made a camera setup video. After looking more at the camera it looks like a real beast! I’m still a bit unsure if I’m best going for the A7IV instead as I’m not doing professional level work, I’m just a hobbyist for now. I’ve also been told (not sure how true this is) that you need really good lenses to use the A7RIV. Like in the range of £1000-2000k which as a beginner/hobbyist isn’t ideal

@ZEFIR001 Thanks for the suggestions! My main issue currently is that stock for all cameras in stores near me is horrible. Almost every camera is sold out so im thinking maybe I will hold off a bit until I can try more cameras in person. I will definitely look into your suggestions. I sort of came to the conclusion that the A7Riv is overkill for me as I likely wont be printing large images for a long time. Unless im doing that I dont see much use for it unless maybe im doing some extreme cropping in editing

So what’s the verdict on the grip? Any issues? How’s the build quality?
