Did you ever make a sharkhyde polish video?? Cybertruck.

Really Nice! just bought a new 2023 Left Over Starcraft SLS3, and the Toons were neglected after an in water boat show at the dealership.. so left in not the newest of shape. some salt oxidation.. I didnt want to go with an acid wash so soon.. But Im liking this method!! whats your schedule like? wanna do an updated video on mine? haha

I got the sharkhide spray can. I’m gonna strip my rims to bare aluminum and shine them shiny with airway wheels and polish compounds, then clean off with acetone and/or lacquer thinner. Is it good to spray on after all that? Or there some sort of more prep needed?

Why are the toons white now? Were they powder coated white before?

Followed this approach to redoing my 2016 aluminum flatbed. Worked out wonderfully. I was a tad concerned after seeing the grain lines right after wiping with the brown pad, but as you said, those all went away by the time I finished with the gray and white pads. I’ve had a few guys comment on how nice it looks 😊

Thank you for the well explained video. I personally had the factory apply the finish, that was 2016, I re-applied once so far. It is looking a bit weathered (especially on those rubbed areas) and thought of either doing a full polish with new Sharkhide, but as we all know that is super labor intensive and extremely messy. I really want to keep this milled look.

Would you recommend this product for chrome bumpers on a Duramax diesel truck

I just finished polishing my boat to a mirror finish and thought I would try some Sharkhide to stop the aluminum from oxidizing, but for some reason I got some streaking. I wrote the company to find out what went wrong but they would not respond to my email, how disappointing.
