So, a 100/1 shot wins a big race.... not the first time it's happened, won't be the last............ but the "headline" is that it's a female jockey??? And there I was thinking that gender doesn't matter when it's actually the horse that was doing all the running!!!!!

今、映画を見ました。女性ジョッキーだからこその騎乗での勝利はとても素晴らしい!日本にも負けないぐらい逞しい女性ジョッキーがいます。必ず近い内に皆さんもこの名前を耳にするでしょう。「NANAKO FUJITA」

My family was on this cruise, and it was really rough seas and scary for 2 nights and one day as we were returning to Australia. The captains bulletin advised that we were no closer than 380nm away from the center, but that was not far enough to avoid 119kph wind and heavy swells. This video seems to gloss over the impact with the nice music, but it was hell for many passengers. This was my 3rd cruise, and maybe my last, after the mental effort to endure that. First time seasick as well. I believe Carnival made a bad business decision to go too close to this huge cyclone, as half the passengers were ill, and even our room attendants were not well. Had the engines broken down as happened to Viking Sky off Norway, it would have been a very different outcome. As it was, no apparent damage and no injuries, so Carnival was lucky this time.
