What size did you get in your vinyl lettering or what company did you use?
@MakerDecor2 күн бұрын
Hi, I made them on a cricut machine. I made them just under 12 inches because that is the height of the cricut cutter I had. I show the process in this video, Thank you kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6LXYZV6d5ihj5I

Bro good video but it seem you have trouble breathing
@MakerDecor4 күн бұрын
lol, yeah I have a bad deviated septum in my nose. I can't really breathe effectively through my nose or smell anything much. So I breath and talk through my mouth. So when I explain things it becomes more obvious. Because when I am talking I am not breathing. Then I take a break from talking to breath, lol. Sorry about that.

@ thank you I just bought it, one more question, idk if you can help me, I’m not sure how much to charge for an event on the big size, here in Texas and Oklahoma. Thanks

@@SebastianTexas Your welcome. That can vary depending on the final product and location. Houston is a big city so it should do well there. I would finish the build and take some pictures setup. Then compare to someone in your area or in TX. If it is similar that should be a good starting point to start renting. You definitely do not want to undercut your value and the market. But just compare the difference and price accordingly. Also remember you can adjust your pricing. If you rent it out once and feel the price was not worth it for you. Just adjust the price, also if it is taking a while to rent it out. Lower it for the first few bookings to get reviews and images. Then look at the pricing that works best for you. Good luck!

The link in the PDF is the one I used to complete the build.

@@SebastianTexasif you have any questions along the way, please feel free to message me on the Etsy app. As I answer there a lot quicker since it sends me the notification like a message. KZbin can be spotty and not notify me of messages. And it's easier to send files or PDFs through there if need be. Good luck!

What type of blade do you use in your jig? I have a craftsman and have the hardest time making clean straight and curve cuts. Any tips?
@MakerDecor14 күн бұрын
I mostly use diablo blades. But if you look you will be able to buy a variety pack that has different blades for different applications. The variety pack has a scroll saw blade style for curved cuts, super easy with it. It has fine cut blades that do not leave such a mess and look clean. Upside down cutting blades that will leave the top side looking clean. Plus a blade for metal, thick lumber, etc. They usually have a sentence in the back or picture that illustrates what each blade is for. Also adjusting the settings on your jigsaw can have a affect on your cutting as well. After some practice and you find the blade that works best for you. It gets much easier. But will let you know cutting straight with a jigsaw is difficult as I still cant do that with out a guide on the side guide the jigsaw against. So I mostly use a circular saw for cutting straight if I have the option. Good luck!

Some of the less expensive balloons do pop easily, and they are transparent, but there lots of people who do not like I'm going to say like the powder look of a balloon. I will say what I see of the name brand balloons setup, thay are beautiful. The balloon artist that use the less expensive balloons are doing a amazing job. GIVE CREDIT WHERE I'TS DUE man!!

How do you make sure that it doesn’t tip over?
@MakerDecor20 күн бұрын
Hi, the Magazine Box is screwed together. And will not tip over easily. Plus it is not light, so it would take some force to move it. The box shape adds a lot of rigidity and strength once it is assembled together.

Hi, can make them on a vinyl cutter such as Cricut or silhouette. They are just vinyl cut letters. You can also search around and a lot of people will make them to sell if you do not have a vinyl cutter.
