Oh, that Delta Enduring. I love when you share about it. ❤ That has got to be the best representation I've seen that gets at some of the issues I have with "moderation" as an ideal & some of the ways the Temperance card has been depicted even in some otherwise progressive decks/books. I carry that lifesaving medicine with me pretty much wherever I go -- it is a part of my daily life far more than many things depicted in the cards are -- & I've never ever seen it depicted in another tarot or oracle deck.

Maybe because I started with Thoth, and then I got Alchemical Tarot (RM Place). Temperance has always been an Alchemy card. It's fire and water, the combining to make a new thing, card. I can work with the ideas on the cards you shared, but that mixologist is always the base meaning.

I was so pleasantly surprised by your choosing the Secrets of the Mystic Grove. I have and use this deck, but never thought of it for late summer. And it's perfect for now. Another deck I use now, for the colors, is the William Blake Tarot.

After I watched Raecine's video the other day, I too, switched out my decks. I put out The Crow, Ink Witch, Spark Tarot, Persephone's Garden, Witch Sisters, and Darkness of Light. Thank you for sharing your late summer decks.

MJ Cullinane decks for sure! Original Tree Whisper, and Oak Ash and Thorn. Tyldwick and Raven's Prophecy. I don't think of myself as a seasonal practitioner, but I felt that change in the weather too, very intense this year!

Happy that you popped up on my feed! I very much enjoyed this video. I think I need to take some time to make my own late summer list. Since I live in the South, the climate stays hotter for much longer; therefore, most of my collection consists of true summer decks. I can think of Greenwitch off the bat, but I use that one in every season. 🙂 I am thinking of purchasing Secrets of the Mystic Grove. I recently started using oracle more in my readings, and while I prefer decks with titles rather than keywords, I love how evocative the artwork is and how well-suited it is for this time of year. I love the smell of pine. Cedar is such a luscious herb/needle/tree. This makes me want to drive up to the forest and commune with the trees. 😊🌲🌲🌲 I have yet to be put in the path of amber. I have looked, even shopped, but when you know, you know. I have been enjoying the changes. The fire season seems to have finally mellowed. We only had about 2 weeks of bad air quality due to smoke this summer, so much better than the last couple of years. And I made friends with a romp of otters (5!) that were in the canal where I do my walking. The last time I went, they were gone. It's almost harvest time! 🌽🌽🌽

Loved seeing your Death cards + hearing your thoughts. ❤ I do like the grim artwork on the Wildwood card, because if a deck is going to do a renaming to a gentler term than Death, like "Journey," I do like when that doesn't mean losing all the more challenging meanings in the process.

Hi Liz, wonderful as always. I had a thought about the death card showing at a baby shower... how appropriate as life as it is before the baby comes is disappearing after the baby's birth. A beautiful but oh so powerful transition and transition than becoming a mother. It was for me for sure, a forever transformation. You picked beautiful cards. That Morgan Greer card I had totally forgotten it. It has been a while since I have used it. ❤

OMG, yessss. Freedom from earthly pain and suffering. This is one of my earliest thoughts when I lost my son. No more pain, no more taxes and traffic, no more hard work and harder decisions. I felt a little guilty for feeling grateful that he would never have any of that. He was a playful, kind, and forgiving person, and now he plays in running streams, is present in the sky and protects me in the weirdest ways. I also love the Death card more now than ever.

You kind of blew my mind when you read the guidebook for the five of coins in the Gay Marseille deck…”thriving in the center and wilted on the margins“…the gold coin in the middle acts as the 1% exploiting the four…I had to stop the video and think about that one. I don’t work with Marseille at all, but this is a unique take on the five of coins for me. I loved it! Another great video! Thank you for sharing!

I just received the old ways magick deck. And I actually love the card stock, even if it is slippery. The majority of my decks have a very summery color palette, but I use most of them year-round anyway. The other deck that I would love to get my hands on is the tarot de St. Croix. And thank you for the reminder about the Asha Frost deck. I just ordered it on Amazon. Thank you for another beautiful video!

Gorgeous summery vibes Liz! I'm also using the Marea, along with my Thoth (can't put it down!), The Sistine Tarot - which recently arrived and I am totally in love with the Mary/Rose/fashion vibes! I've also got my Taro as Colour back out - all the colour needed! Summer has not really arrived here in the UK yet - a brief one week of hot sunny weather and then back to cooler, wetter. Great video! Did you write the titles and keywords on your Greenwood tarot? If you did, what kind of marker did you use? I had ordered that from make playing cards, but mine doesn't have titles or keywords on it.
