Did you happen to have any remodel boxes installed in your house for switches or receptacles - the nature of these makes them not flush with the wall - and I have bought some Eaton Screwless boxes - that are not quiet deep enough so there is a small gap - I am wondering if the Bestten ones have this problem? Thanks!

Basically brand new, in the box, but previous owner says it doesn't light on the left side. Well I got it home and it's just a purple-tinged screen, doesn't show any input not does the menu screen even show. Looks like I got my work cut out for me!

Great tips buddy. Cleaning the throttle body and maf sensor is what brought me here to your channel. You gotta detail your engine man! LOL. Just kidding, but seriously, if you keep your engine clean, it does help with maintenance over the long term and it's so simple to do on a 370Z. I have a 370Z myself and I have never had a problem cleaning my engine with a good all purpose cleaner such as Super Clean or Purple Power. I use my wheel cleaning brushes to dive down into the cracks and crevices and give everything a good scrub and then pressure wash away all the gunk and grime. Engine compartment looks brand new after that. Then I finish it all off with Koch Chemie Motor Plast which is a spray dressing specifically designed for the engine bay. You simply spray it and walk away. No wiping required, although I do wipe it all down with a cheap microfiber cloth that I throw away afterwards but any junk rag would do. The nice thing about Koch Chemie Motor Plast is the chemical is also good for preserving ALL parts on the interior and ALL SURFACES. It puts a clear coating on hoses, wires, and everything inside the engine bay helping to extend the life of all the stuff inside the engine bay. I personally have never covered up anything as some people suggest and I have never had a problem. I do my engine bay about once per year and after ten years (I have a 2014 370Z) the engine bay still looks better than the day it rolled off the Nissan showroom floor! It's pretty simple. Everytime I bring my 370Z in for routine maintenance, the mechanics there marvel at how clean my ten year old 370Z is. They said they absolutely love to work on my car because the engine is so clean and it makes it so much easier and less messy over an engine that comes in that has never been cleaned and has so much gunk and grime on it, it makes it more difficult to diagnose any problems visually that it might encounter. I feel it helps to keep the car in better running condition as well but that's just me. I am a detailer so I am a little OCD on my 370Z but I have ALWAYS been an advocate of keeping the engine bay as clean as possible. I've been detailing for over 45 years all the way back to the days where you did have to cover up things inside the bay with plastic bags to avoid problems. With the newer style engines, most everything is sealed fairly well from moisture and the elements so doing an engine bay cleaning using whatever all purpose cleaner or soap you choose (Dawn Dish Soap actually works pretty well for engine bay cleaning as well as it's a high PH soap so works great on not only grease and grime on your dishes and pans, but inside the engine bay of a vehicle too! Scrub it with some inexpensive brushes (I use my wheel brushes) and then GENTLY rinse away the grease and grime that was loosened up by the soap and agitation. I use a pressure washer and just step back a little bit so the blast isn't spraying right onto the components, but with still enough force to push away all the loosened gunk and grime that may have accumulated on the engine components. Like I said, I do mine about once a year and it still looks brand new after 10 years. I do think the Motorplast spray dressing is a big help too and makes the engine look factory fresh. People who look at it at a cruise night or meet are amazed at how clean the engine bay looks. Plus, if I decide to sell it later, which I probably won't, BUT, if I did, it's brand new appearance will no doubt garner a much higher price on the used car market than if it looks worn out and heavily used like many Z's I have seen in the past. I would personally walk away from those type of used car sales, but again, that's me. The only thing I have had to do to my ten year old 370Z is basic routine maintenance and new tires so far. I upgraded my tires to the Continental DWS06+ All seasons and it totally changes the dynamics of the 370Z in bad weather. On the stock Potenza's I had on it since new, good gosh, it was something when you drove it in bad weather. That back end would kick out on you fast, your head would spin! I live in the higher mountains where it snows, rains, and hails at a moments notice! Good all seasons are an absolute MUST HAVE for safety. I only take it out in good weather but sometimes where I live, you just never know because the weather changes so gosh darned fast so you have to have a good all season tire or my 370Z would feel like it was walking all over the road during poor weather conditions. Take care and thanks for posting these helpful tips.

Why take the harness off at all? Leave it on the engine and replace with new on the Hemi engine. Too much disassembly here. Leave the whole service on the front, leave the harness on the engine. The only part of the engine that should come off is the PS pump. Pull the engine out with transmission. Way more work this way.
@michaelmeier703110 күн бұрын
Pretty good video. However, when I do my Hemi swap I'd change out that transmission and all. Much easier to pull both units together out of there rather than removing the engine separately,

Wondering when and how you figured out you had the cam timing off by 1/2 a rotation and also you were using a concrete drill bit to drill that hole in the bullet cover plate. Good Video...
@ghostlyrich10 күн бұрын
So technically, i could have left the cam as the cam rotates at 2 to 1 ratio with the crank. So even though i had it aiming to the sky i decided to refilm it aiming to the floor. As thats what lme suggests and i knew it would cause confusion and i would need to explain it so i reshot that piece of footage for piece of mind lol. The drill bit was a universal material bit :) (editing to add this was also my least favriote set of milwaukee bits as they are definitely more masonry then the metal and wood they claimed they were good for)

I am just today having my stage 1 kit ordered & installed by my local HD dealer. I am having them install the Screamin' Eagle High Flow Air Intake with the Cobra Neighbor Hater exhaust onto my 2019 Harley-Davidson Sport Glide 2 in 1 exhaust headers. I don't have any idea on what or how they are going to set up the Pro Street Tuner? Would you suggest that I go ahead and buy the extra Tuner cable and whatever else I need to recheck it after riding it for awhile? Or should I take it back to the HD dealer to do all of this? Your thoughts please? And anyone else reading this please let me know your thoughts?

this was great. mainly because I am trying to understand the oil pump system of the dry sump. I read there were "2" and thought there was one at the back. Unfortunately, nothing works on the vinyl siding and the vinyl frame around the door☹️ I could hang Halloween lights because they didn't need support in the middle. But heavy garlands with lights needs the support. Those clips would work on the gutter going across our porch, but I just want it around the door.
@ghostlyrich18 күн бұрын
Look up "sticky tie holder" attach them with gorilla tape but heat the siding and the tape with a blow dryer than apply pressure for atleast a minute per one. Should allow you to mount the garland and would hold very well, if not would have to use screws.
