The ONLY proven way that the world has found to tackle this in any effective way is LEGALIZE, TAX, AND REGULATE. Prohibition has NEVER worked for anything in the history of mankind. If you think they don't have an opiate problem in China, you need to go deeper in your research/investigation. Also, say they didn't...are you saying that we should implement authoritarian Communism? P.S. Biden allocated exponentially more funds and human resources in his first 2 years to this crisis than Trump did in 4. Fact check me.

I've carried Narcan nasal spray in my purse for the last 5 years. Saved a 15 year old girl who dropped next to me at a concert in Seattle. Saved two houseguests as well where I keep vials of it.

When I was in active addiction many years ago. I would purchase Fentanyl patches for $20 a piece. I would cut off the corner and sip it like a few drops at a time. I did eventually have a near fatal overdose. Have been drug free for more than a decade now
@drwardbond3 күн бұрын
So happy you are drug free! And you are right about Narcan. Researchers have learned the more Narcan in used in an individual, it can lead to severe mental impairment as it's meant to be once, not over and over again.
@momsmushroomsjodyfoster57864 күн бұрын
The other problem with people depending on Narcan in overdose situations is, I believe it’s only effective against opiate overdose? So it won’t revive someone who has overdosed on Xanax, for example.

“Gordon was notably the drummer for Derek and the Dominos and provided the piano coda for their evergreen anthem “Layla.” it’s well known now that Rita wrote that. Makes me not want to listen to this, if he didn’t get that right.

…pull up “Over The Line” by Johnny Rivers…and of course, “Classical Gas” from Mason. Oh…”Solitaire” and “Only Yesterday” by Carpenters for good measure…for 4 excellent examples by our departed drum giant subject here. Personally I tend not to obsess about the crime but more about how he transformed a seemingly average composition into something you have hear again and again because his talent was pure magic. In fact music itself is a very powerful form of magic! Fascinating interview by the way. Very much enjoyed it!

I love Jerry too, so hard to believe that he is 82 yrs old. In this video he was 80. It is so hard to hear him clearly. Love Elvis Always & Forever, Forever & Always. We used to play in his Graceland when I was 4, 5 and 6 yrs old, met him, never forgot, never will forget. We would go get his favorite flavor ice cream at a place that no longer exists. What a BEAUTIFUL MAN INSIDE AND OUT. Never has there been a more generous human being to exist. Worked himself to death and gave it all way!!! Rest in Heavenly Peace Elvis, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRECIOUS GIFTS!!!

Jerry’s book is very well written and he’s honest, loyal and still very much apart of Lisa Marie’s and Pricilla’s life’s. Thank you for such a great book and your continued devotion to the family. Blessings.

Jerry, I wouldn’t say you were Elvis’ most loyal friend, because you revealed to the world that Elvis had slept with your girlfriend. That betrayed Elvis, and robbed him of his dignity and privacy. Do you think he would have wanted you to tell that to the world? That was wrong. A woman who deserves every decent person’s scorn, Priscilla the legendary liar and the person responsible for doing more damage to Elvis’ image than anyone else, and who was horribly abusive to Lisa Marie, seems to be exempt from even the slightest criticism from you. I would say that you are a most loyal friend to Priscilla.

It was a great experience to have been there around both Elvis and J.D. and the Stamps and the Oakridge Boys at the same time . And to see the transition from Elvis to the Oak's by Richard Sterban . And we all knew there was something about the Oakridge Boys that was going to be a huge hit . I love this mucus we all call , Southern Gospel Music , From Elvis to the Oak's !

good friend. he knew the right thing to do. Elvis played M.S.G. on june 9 1972. It was a friday night performance. I sat in the 5 row to Elvis's left. The place was shaking because the crowd was stomping there feet and chanting, Elvis Elvis Elvis. The whole place vibrated so bad the comedian got bood off,and when the lights when off, and 2001 space oddessy song started, the whole place went completely ape shit and then Elvis came out. The place was so nuts Red and his cousin had to come out on stage to protect Elvis from something that just missed him. He never saw it. It was crazy. Elvis's never saw it coming. Jerry is the only person alive today that knows what happened that night right behind Elvis while he was singing
