Sure don't look like it lol but cool if it is
@RichardT136 ай бұрын
@@GroggyGinger Yeah CRVs don't really look too lifted even with a lift 3 in isn't really much there's people that are double the size with bigger tires these were a little bit wider than stock just standard all-terrains nothing crazy The biggest issue that that thing had was that it was an automatic not a manual transmission so it lacked a lot of low end torque had plans to put a supercharger on it till it was stolen. If you look at some of the other videos I have I think the walk around video you might be able to see the tires in it somewhere or tell that it's lifted or at least I described it there's definitely pictures of it floating around on Instagram and Facebook
@GroggyGinger6 ай бұрын
I'm not discrediting...I have a 97 crv I'm currently working on to make it an offroad beast...I know the lifts don't look "lifted" and all. Still pretty cool. I'm getting the HRG 4" lift setup gonna keep the 15" factory wheels but put 235 75 Yokohamas on it and a bolt on turbo kit....mine is automatic as well. I've had this thing since 2007 and it has never gotten stuck with basic all terrains and no lift. They are surprisingly capable in the stock configuration lol

These Mk 1's are like a mini land Cruiser.... Very underestimated vehicle , and serious off road capabilities ,And as rich as pointed out its got the bypass airbox all stock the way honda made her. Deeply upsetting to hear that some piece of filth stole her. Honda made these in the UK with a good immobiliser covering stater motor, fuel pump and also locked out the power steering among other services under the hood. This was Honda's first AWD vehicle and they sure got it right, Got it very right indeed as we can see here. 👌💯🫡

I couldn't have said it better bro🙏🏾. The biggest thing was the last of power but I had got a supercharger for it long after this video. YOU NEED MUD TIRES FOR THAT DON'T BURN THE ENGINE
@RichardT13 Жыл бұрын
It was in Toyo AT 2 tires at that time and the engine was fine the trans cooler wasn't tho lol ahahaha. Drove it home after this 4hrs no problems. I put a over size trans cooler with a fan and thermal switch and never looked back. Over the CRV was a extremely fun before it was stolen during the COVID lock downs and I never left me stranded now matter what I tossed at it. Could I have made better decisions about where I drove it sure but where's the fun in that

If you let it be me limited to road wheels. It was lifted 3in on Toyo AT2 all-terrain tires. 🤷🏾♂️ The problem is this video was lack of power and getting stock in tracks that the bigger trucks left. It hard to get out of 40in tire tracks when you in 28in tires and drive a automatic CRV 😂

@craigiefconcert64933 жыл бұрын
Wow! I’m shocked you made it through there! Did you walk through it first to judge the depth? I wonder how much deeper until the air intake would bog out? Did the car fill up with water inside?
@RichardT133 жыл бұрын
I have been there many time before so I had a idea of how deep is was ahead of time. We usually take rzr's or lifted trucks on 40s in the pit. So I got stuck in the tracks from something with bigger tires. The mud was hella soft and I sunk in. The stock air intake has a factory air/water by pass box so you can do water crossings no problem with the stock air intake system. No the car didn't fill with water at all. Good seals and movement keeps the water out

Good shit bro! How much trimming would have to be done to the center console to get it to fit over the shifter?
@RichardT133 жыл бұрын
Guess I should have put the plastic on to show but no cutting to the console. Now I'll have say the the cables do hit my cd/eq but that is because of how high I cut the hole for the cables so there is room to play there. I thing it would be Less of a problem with cupholders because they don't take up as much space. But I'll have make video showing this part thanks for asking
