'Those bloody narrow lanes'. 'Imagine bringing a caravan down here'. 'Lots of hikers wandering on to the road'. (It's allowed, by the way). That's your words. Yet you are driving on a single track road in a remote rural area with a motorhome, aka, a large van. That is to say, a totally unsuitable vehicle for the prevailing conditions. Then you complain that the journey was hard and 'stressful'. That's your bad. That walk through the static caravan pitches reminds me of Birkenau. Then (quelle surprise) it rains in North Yorkshire and you go back home to Northampton. It's a bit limp in my view. Nevertheless, love and peace and I wish you safe travelling.
@TravellingtravinsКүн бұрын
Hi thanks for your comments, legally allowed to drive on my friend no weight limits especially for our Campervan, it was lovely to see hikers about roaming! the stress bit was we were ill with covid, we managed it and got home safely, stay safe 🫶

Enjoyed your video. I live in Fakenham, so it was good to see some local sights. Did you make it to the beach at Wells - it's one of the best and my happy place to walk my dog, hope to see you back in Norfolk again sometime.
@Travellingtravins16 күн бұрын
Hi sorry for the late reply, no we didn’t get to wells beach the car park featured didn’t take Apple Pay only cash! Of which we didn’t have any on us and the parking bays were just too small for VanDolph so headed out of the area, gutted to be fair so happy to know it’s your happy place we feel the same about getting into the van and travelling seeing new and exciting places, thank you so much for watching us we will be back to Norfolk soon as we love it there and it’s close to northampton for a seaside, keep walking the dog on the beach your so lucky 🫶
@Gorutmk16 күн бұрын
@@Travellingtravins no worries, it must be difficult to keep up with replying to stuff. The Beach car park at Wells, is contactless, not sure about Apple Pay, but it should work. There are some larger spaces further up, but if you come back, the best car park would be further out of Wells, Lady Anne's Drive and you can still access Holkham Beach. Before moving here I lived in Hanslope (Bucks) between MK and Northampton, know N'Hampton quite well. Watched you video of Billing Aquadrome, blimey what a difference....

thank you for showing us Exmouth, one of the local towns, we are on the other side of the estuary, probably could see us on your drone shot! that's near Powderham, on the Dawlish rd. A379. Interesting staying at the estuary car park. A few years ago, travellers set up camp there and there were quite a few vans, so eventually they went,( not sure how)? and I think the council changed the payments and conditions. like you say people still stay there, and no harm done. some people have mentioned the maer car park, which is a long stay, and you can overnight there. thank you for the excellent filming, very nice shots. the estuary being tidal has excellent, bird wildlife migration in autumn, worth a watch and visit. The boat yard part where you went, i think was called Shelly beach?, and back in the 30s probably right up until about 10 years ago, people were living down there in old prefab type houses, it was a whole community of people, then got sold off and and flats were built , not very affordable ones either. The M&S is not that old and there was nothing there before apart from sea views! enjoy your journeys, and pebble beach at Budleigh...!
@Travellingtravins29 күн бұрын
Hi and thank you for your comments, very interesting, and educational, I absolutely loved stayin at the estuary, peaceful and the best views and sunset ever! We litter picked too and paid the overnight charge, so hopefully left it a cleaner place and money in the councils pocket, Tracey loved the M&S store a little too much. You’re so lucky living where you do and you seem to be very appreciative of it. Hope to be back down end of summer and hope you can keep watching our vlogs. Much love sent to you

No motorhomes after 10pm and no overnighting but does it anyway. No wonder the UK hates motorhomes.
@TravellingtravinsАй бұрын
The Uk loves motorhomes and we paid overnight parking with no height barriers, we litter picked so left it better and richer than it was, we spent at M&S so spent more then we would of done if we had gone to a campsite/field. Not for us we like the adventure, surely a good thing. 👊😁no harm to no one! Thanks for your comment tho it’s great to hear peoples point of view either way! ❤

Exmouth was one of my top spots for camper van park ups at queens drive. But sadly my van was to long to park up overlooking the sea. Maer road car 24 hour £11 a night. Even the free park up at estuary view had hight restriction barrier installed. If you are going to north Devon. a good camp site is the Tarka trail camping. You can stay at the long stay car park in Bideford also. Not as nice as Exmouth.

I wouldn’t stay on a site that allowed drones filming us !
@Travellingtravins2 ай бұрын
Hi, it’s up 100 metres and taking video of the site and scenery never ever imposing on anyone, also we get up really early to do this. Or when’s it’s quiet, also a site can only prevent you from taking off they don’t own the sky so I would simply walk out of they property take off on public land and fly anyway, so sites need to allow “but have respectful rules” for each and everyone. we do this to share great footage that previous to drones was helicopters, “great for the environment”. I do understand your point but it’s a legal hobby enjoyed by many, and we obey all CAA rules, just don’t look up! If you hear one.

Easy!
