I have the previous version of it, but I want to switch to another model that allows me to switch between headphones and active speakers. Is there a model that doesn't necessarily have to be iFi, but I would like the same quality? I was pleasantly surprised when I switched from the Fostex HP-A4 to the Zen DAC 2 with my Sennheiser HD 560S.

I have not yet heard the Nano, but the closest approximate I have is the Edition XS. Both are excellent, but offer the pros and cons of their respective driver technologies. HD660S2 has great vocal timbre and satisfying smoothness, while the Edition XS offers more of that planar speed and slam for better attacks and transients.

I was extremely disappointed that LDAC is not working on my phone the xiaomi redmi note 12, I would love to fix this problem☹️

@@nathanbrisson4905 dang, that's a bummer. You might be able to get some kind of bluetooth dongle that supports ldac, but that's probably not going to be a very elegant solution.

@@VishnuTVenu it's with all the headsets .... LDAC is however noted as compatible with this phone ... but even going into the developer settings it doesn't work ... I don't think it's my phone in particular because other people have the same problem on the internet ...

@@VishnuTVenu strangely the LDAC works on the old model the redmi note 10 pro ... I tested ..... In wired mode yes the sound is the same! only the noise reduction modes do not work in wired mode

Audio technica got 2 sets of high impedance open backs, tubes are recommended :) but it also depend on quality of amp/tubes dont know if budget amps do them justice

Twist and lock 2.5mm connectors is wild. How hard is it to put regular 3.5mm connectors on a headphone? Great review as always :)

@martincassidy8581 I tried it briefly and it was really cumbersome. The case itself is more than you need anyway, super nice. I imagine the bag is more for if the case it too big to put into your luggage or something.
