Do you think the Analogue 3D will make games look as clean as Nintendo Switch online N64 games?

Possibly - Analogue tends to go for a lot of upscale options, not just "clean". It's hard to say for sure, since their previous consoles were all focused on 2D graphics (SNES, NES, Genesis, PC Engine, Game Boy). If Analogue moves on to the PS1 after this, how the Analogue 3D handles upscaling should give us an idea of what to expect.

Honestly my favorite part of knightfall. I really like that he couldn't just throw the cowl back on to be Batman. It's a mental and physical mastery that he had to relearn. Would you ever consider reviewing the animated movie Mask of the Phantasm?

What about the Elric graphic novels? What is the reading order for those, I cant find any explanation anywhere and dont know which ones to order. Please Help.

The Ruby Throne, Stormbringer, The White Wolf, and The Dreaming City are adaptations of parts of the novels "Elric of Melnibone" and "The Dreaming City" (while dropping the aspects of "Sailor on the Seas of Fate" that involve crossing over with other incarnations of the Eternal Champion).

I got the N64 module a couple days ago and did a dump of a bunch of my cartridges - Goldeneye and Perfect Dark aren't compatible yet. I'll do a follow up video later.

Enjoyed your review. I got 'Warhound' in the early 1980s when it was first published. I've always liked it, although I'd agree that it doesn't quite do justice to the boldness of the concept. It's as though Moorcock had a brilliant idea but wasn't sure how to fully develop the layers and possibilities that the idea implies. Nonetheless, it's a fine fantasy novel. I do sometimes wonder if Neil Gaiman was inspired by it when he wrote The Season of Mists.

Hey, Alexander! Since I haven't read any Elric and, therefore, have no frame of reference, will the ripped-off climax be more effective for me and improve my experience with the book or is it just a sub-par rehash any which way you cut it? Will my appreciation of the original sequence in the Elric Cycle be diminished by reading this first? I'm going through the White Wolf 15-book omnibus collection of the Multiverse Saga. Is the next story in the Von Bek Cycle called "The Brothel in Rosenstrasse" about Manfred's descendant Rickhardt? That's supposed to be set in pre-WWI Edwardian Europe instead of post-WWI Wiemar Germany. Or is that not an Eternal Champion story?

So, to go through these questions in order (without spoiling too much): if you hadn't read any of the earlier books, then the ending wouldn't feel like *that* much of a rehash, though it still doesn't land gracefully - it certainly wouldn't diminish your appreciation of the original sequence - this one might be diminished a little though in retrospect. "The Brothel in Rosenstrasse" is considered a side story and isn't exactly an Eternal Champion story. Thanks for asking!

There's a booktuber named Bridger on a channel called "The Library Ladder" who's doing scholarly-researched visual essays on each Cycle of Moorcock's Multiverse Saga that might be of interest to you. So far he's reviewed the White Wolf omnibuses for Von Bek, John Daker, Dorian Hawkmoon and Oswald Bastable as well as done a bio on Moorcock. The first half of Elric is next in the spring. The Wiemar Republic Von Bek story I think you were referencing is "The Pleasure Garden of Felipe Sagittarius" set on an alternate Earth. Bridger covers it briefly. Despite your misgivings, did you end up taking a crack at it?

Not yet - The Sword & Laser Book Club decided to do the first of the Elric novels, so I picked up the audio book of the first of the more recent Elric collections - long story short, it's pretty good, and the reader is great

My favorite episode is episode 2 because they reference battalion which in America is the classic comedy horror the return of the living dead, a.k.a. the introduction to the brain eating zombie movie. 🧟‍♂️🧠

Loved the movie for years except john wayne was awful. He almost ruins the paratrooper battle scenes. Way too old for the paratrooper he portrayed. It was like these trained troopers were all stupid as he waves them over to be part of his entourage. “Hit the dirt!” Ugh.

Good review 👍 This is one of the few Eternal Champion novels that I haven't read yet. I plan to read this near the end of the year when I reread the Elric saga. The Von Bek family appears again in the Elric Moonbeam Roads trilogy.
