Good job man I liked the way you moved ! I laughed at the part where you said you completely ignored your coach and he hated you for it. I do that all the time. Just finished my blue belt tournament In SC on the 9th I got 2nd as well!

Yes it was quite unfortunate, but if I was gonna lose I'm glad it was to sasha lol. 😂 He was a great competitor and good sport about it all. He was all about getting a thumbnail for the video!

Im a 40 year old blue belt. Respect for competing. It’s hard to explain to people how much harder competition rounds and just rolling with your buddies truly is.

Oh boy. The first match I had was so numbing. My legs were absolutely gassed already. Luckily I have a great team and coaches who push me in the cardio rounds so I was prepared!

I try this trip all the time 2:16 I usually drop to a sweep single to the opposite side if I don’t get the trip you should try!

One of my teachers knew a guy who trained fighters for an amateur michigan league around twenty years ago and would send guys over to work on their ground game. It would always be the same types of guys with 4-1 records who were ok strikers with mediocre ground game. Me and my cousin would tap them at will, and they would never come back because they were always pretty shredded dudes, and we were like 145 pounds at the time. Good times.
