The immunological benefits gained from plants has very little (if anything) to do with the anti-microbial defense chemicals produced by the plant. A diet rich in leafy greens and bright-colored fruits can provide us with high levels of antioxidants (that protect our body from free radicals that can cause damage to macromolecules like DNA, lipid membranes, and proteins). Plants also provide us with essential vitamins (many of them are antioxidants) that can support proper immune function by enabling proper cell division and immunological function of various endogenous leukocytes. It has nothing to do with the anti-microbial chemicals produced by the plant.

Im not a doctor or anything but if Im not mistaken your stomac contains stomac acid instead of a glass of water 😅
@larsgibbon33278 ай бұрын
A bit simplistic. How does the analysis change if you add the oils to stomach acid and not water. Also, these oils are advised to be taken with food. Reflux may not be because the oil sits on topof the water, what about other possible factors such as insufficient stomach acid or insufficient gut bacteria. What role do they paly?

Strange. We keep hearing of the immune system strength but there's no way to measure it. Then its meaningless.

Not a good indicator of how the 2 oils will act in the stomach in my opinion... The acidity of the stomach is much higher than that of a glass of water. In addition there are digestive enzymes in the stomach that begin to break down foods/liquids/oils when they enter the stomach. So this video only proves what the 2 oils will do in a glass of water... not what they will do in the stomach. For example, if you took a chewed up piece of meat and dropped it into the glass of water, what do you think would happen to the meat? Nothing would happen to the piece of meat. It would just sit there in the glass of water. But if you dropped a piece of chewed up meat into the stomach, what do you think would happen? It would begin to be digested... just like the 2 oils would begin to be digested if you swallowed them. This video proves nothing except for what the 2 oils will do if poured in a cup of water. Pointless!

I am currently taking 160 mg per day. For my prostrate cancer. 40mg 8 am 40 mg at noon, 40 mg at 4pm and 40 at 8pm. Going on now for 3 months. Have not experienced any of these side effects. No pharmaceutical companies will run human trials on it because it is not patentable. Since all the current prostate cancer treatments all have the same basic characteristics. 1. They are very expensive, 2. Really bad side effects. 3. If you get to remission it is usually short lived. And they move on to the next treatment. 4. If you have to continue with treatments for more than a few years you will end up bankrupt. 5. They are all treatments ! Nothing is a cure with the exception of low grade cancers. As an individual with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer who when I asked my oncologist what my prognosis was? His reply, oh it's fatal! So I am doing a clinical trial with an N of one. Below is a recent paper in Pub Med published in June of 2023 www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10187692/ Reply
