Serious dearth of hen pheasants in the UK! Surely you can hawk them, right?

Did youse put ferrets or something down into the warren to flush out the rabbits?

Their stamina is what really stands out. I've had them chase and catch a midwinter pheasant over a mile here in the US.

6:22 i know that feeling. We have areas in the US like that. One time it was easier to crawl under to get to a gos, but i ended up covered in poison ivy.

Great Goshawk! Beautiful bird btw. I havent gotten up the motivation to try training a Goshawk just yet. For now I am sticking to Red tails and Harris hawks😄

Watching a bird being eaten alive by a goshawk. Put the pheasants out of their misery, the pheasants are just flying chickens that have been fattened up for the perverse pleasure of morons. Im a shooting man, but this type of behaviour gives field sports a bad name. No wonder the anti hunting campaigners are winning over the general public. Walking through dozens of tame fatted pheasants with a goshawk gives them all the ammunition they need.
