As a total know-nothing looking in, I wonder if the reason nothing makes sense about this situation is because there was something totally undisclosed happening. I wonder if the team itself was the mission. Meaning, what if the team was compromised from within and the seemingly nonsensical missions were an attempt to draw the compromised person or persons out. There will never be more than a few dozen women in SOF military wide. A few hundred or so women in total are in combat arms now NOT because of Marxist equality of outcomes, but because meritocracy, of equality of opportunity for the individual. You know, one of those "pesky" little bedrock values that informs our sense of self as a nation. This kind of prejudice is an insult to our way of life.

I’m a civilian and I want to go enlisted. According to what some BUD/S dropouts told me, one female SEAL candidate broke her legs in Basic Orientation (BO) which is the first two weeks of BUD/S, another female SEAL candidate broke her legs in BUD/S Prep and a third female SEAL candidate got rolled back in BO for stress fractures. None of them made it. In November 2021, a woman made it to first phase of BUD/S for the first time in history but she quit on day one after the first hour.
