In Fruhling the tuning is about 75 cents flat. But September seems fine. Wonder if something wasn't set quite right when the youtube video got processed. I'm using a chrome extension (at transpose dot video) to adjust it.

Schubert absorbed Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven and made an alternative Romantic style to Beethoven who used brick like structures.

Xenakis is a TRULY unique composer. From what I understand, his composition teacher, Olivier Messiaen, recommended him NOT to study traditional counterpoint & harmony, unlike ALL of his other students. He felt that Xenakis could instead use his knowledge of mathematics and ARCHITECTURE as inspiration(!) But it's not always obvious...his other works have a MUCH wider variety than I imagined. And NEVER boring!

This may be the most musically satisfying interpretation of the Haydn trumpet concerto, no surprise since Herseth was a legend with the CSO, supported by my vote for best orchestra in the world, at least at the time of the recording.

Repent and trust in Jesus. He's the only way to Heaven. We've all sinned and deserve Hell. Sins like lying, lusting, etc. Repent and trust only in Jesus, and you will be saved! You can be saved because he took the punishment for our sins on himself when he died on the cross, just like someone can pay your speeding fine in court, and you get off free. Romans 3:23 John 3:16

When I worked in a megastore classical department in the 90s, certain young edge-lords, Anon's dads I guess you could say, used to come in all the time and ask for Xenakis, Berio, Stockhausen etc etc expecting the answer to be "we don't have any", and prepare to leave in a righteous huff. But the buyer happened to have a large budget and blew it on a bunch of those recordings. Cue much confusion as the Anons of the 90s were faced with the dilemma of having to buy the damned stuff to save face. They'd usually just leave, deflated.
