IAFF to introduce JD Vance as the next Vice President of USA, that was a huge misstep. Tells how out of touch IAFF are after Gov Walz presentation. The audience warmly applauded the Coach because he spoke on issues important to IAFF members. Get real!

He tried so hard to use his military service to try to bond with real men who actually work for a living.

Safety costs money, but if you don't have the tax base to pay firefighters, as is the case with Volunteer FD's, then is it wrong to make what IAFF percieves to be a "negative comment" to bring it to light that your town just doesnt have the money it takes to follow OSHA minimum safety standards? Remeber most Union fire departments are Paid not Volunteer.

Most firefighters in the IAFF are conservative, I appreciate Vance taking the chance to speak and recognizing that he's grateful for "Both sides" being heard- Says a lot about character- There is an opportunity for National level republicans to embrace Labor, especially public servant labor. He makes some strong points about being "let down" by democrat economic policies- these destroy our pensions values and the cost of living and make life harder for everyone, including firefighters.

Talks about "Reset the moral compass of the IAFF" at 13:30- don't endorse a candidate that didn't win a Primary! its unethical!
