I saw this tour in the states they opened for motley, but Vivian was a no show and I remember David ragging on him, calling him names, he was not happy about it. But they still put on a great show.

I love John Sykes (R.I.P.) more than anything, but Vivian's solo here is pretty damn good too. Since it wasn't one of the _most_ iconic solos on the 1987 album, I'm actually OK with the fact that it was re-recorded for the 1988 Mix of the song. (But if they had replaced the solo on "Don't Turn Away" I would have thrown a right fit...)

Seen this tour in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1987. It was my first rock concert. It left an incredible impression as to what a great show show should be. This is like seeing my first concert again. Great energy! Such power!

I saw this tour in Louisville Ky in 87. Whitesnake opened for Crue on the Girls Girls Girls tour. They destroyed Crue. Motley were all fucked up and Vince sounded like shit. Does anyone know if Sykes did any shows with them on this tour or did Coverdale shit can him before they went on the road??!!!
