Murray spot on as always. Roger honest but a bit salty as would be expected (he had just gone untouched for 4 YEARS)

sorry to break the news to you, but it's a well known fact that Dopal has been doping his whole career, yes they get tested but the authorities probably turn a blind eye because it will hurt their revenue if they ban him as they very well should! Bottom line is Dopal is a well known drug cheat. He is the equivalent of Lance Armstrong. The truth will be revealed to the world after he retires. Same as the Lance Armstrong story!! Proof is in the pudding. No 36 year old can perform 4 hour plus matches and not get tired, younger player are affected 10 years younger. Other irrefutable evidence is the profuse sweating and the premature baldness, both clear signs of performance enhancing drugs such as steroids etc. His legacy will forever be tarnished and question marks will always remain. Unlike Roger Federer and the true goat Novak Djokovic

Watching this in 2021 makes the players comments so disrespectful 😂. Especially when Andy said he’ll be at the top of clay for 4-5 years but ended up being 12 lol
@ushav56702 жыл бұрын
the way andyMurray speaks is always marked with disrespect - to whatever/whoever he is talking about... so much insolence in his approach... whereas people like Federer come across as very measured even if they are saying something disrespectful... may be it has to do with being from the place he comes from...

So Murray in 2008 thought Rafa wd continue to be the best clay court player in the world "for another 4 to 5 years, until someone else comes along." Great prediction, Andy! Here we are in 2020, and Rafa is STILL the best clay courter in the world. Shows how much Andy knows.
@jayap35572 жыл бұрын
they were desperate for that "somebody to come along"... andyMurray gets dragged into such commentary only because he is from the UK... his style of commenting about other tennis players is so insolent/snobbish/even disrespectful...never makes heartfelt statements about anyone except himself...

I was at that quarterfinal match in Cincinnati when Rafa clinched the #1 ranking for the 1st time. Roger lost to Isner which meant a Rafa win would elevate him to the top spot in the rankings the following Monday. After Rafa won, the crowd was going absolutely CRAZY! We watched Rafa soak up all the much deserved love and adoration, with respect for his long, hard fought journey to the top of Men’s Tennis. VAMOS❣️💪🏽👏🏾👑#1🇪🇸

Rafa is a child prodigy ! Seriously, he and djokovic both did justice to their talents. However, murray did not. Federer on the other hand plays the game so beautifully and artistically. He can make any guy fall in love with tennis by just watching him play.
@glutamin1118 жыл бұрын
I strongly disagree, actually i think Murray has already well overachieved his natural talent for the game. He is an endurance freak with a drive and tenacity that is extremely rare and very admirable but his natural talent is not even in the same league when it comes to a few other players that ended up with no grand slams -> David Nalbandian for one example.

I dont think it matters anyway after all there are only 2 or 3 indoor hardcourt tournaments that the players can squeeze into their schedule ,Nadal only played 5 times in WTF 3 or 4 times in Paris and 4 times in Madrid (when it was played indoors) in his entire career. The difference in indoors from the outdoors is that the aerodynamics of the court is completely different,and makes the bounce more predictable and easy to take earlier than in outdoors and that helps Federer tremendously
@Herv311 жыл бұрын
I do wonder why it's 4-0 Federer for indoor. It's easy to chalk it up to Nadal tapering off at the end of the year and not being at his best, but not even winning one? Something seems suspect. I think I've read that each hard court surface plays differently. Or maybe Nadal is claustrophobic. I think there is some explanation behind it because it's the only surface where Nadal doesn't have one win and take into consideration that he has a 7-2 on outdoor hard courts.
@MsShith11 жыл бұрын
Most of the time nobody even mentions if it's indoors or outdoors hardcourts ,they say the head to head on hardcourts in general. With Nadal and Federer i think they separate them because it looks ridiculous for Federer to lead just grass by such a small margin (2-1)

@Herv311 жыл бұрын
Not so fast. They are even on hard courts, but if you dissect it further things get interesting. On indoor hard courts, Federer is up 4-0. On outdoor hardcourts, it's 7-2 Nadal. So it's more like, Wimbledon 2-1 Federer, Clay, 13-2 Nadal, Hard Courts 7-2 Nadal, Hard Courts(i) 4-0 Federer.
