I think you should just put a clear polyurethane on the walls to keep it light and bright it would look a lot nicer that way

Walmart sells folding tables that could easily be stored on eighter side of couch under 20 bucks. Every thing looking good.

One suggestion for wood finish is whitewash. You still get the wood grain and lighter walls. Good luck.

Thanks bud. I picked up a LG 43" TV for it today. The curtains were made last night so now I'm ready to move in tonight. Tomorrow I'll have to commit to the purchasing the solar panels and stuff I need for the faucet and stand up shower. I appreciate the follow and feedback.

No, there will be a stand up shower and a composting toilet in the area there where the green paneling is installed.

I thought the partition was for a raised bed. How are you planning on doing the bathroom? Permanently installed, or collapsible? May I ask what part of the country you are in? Does it get cold or hot there? Will you be putting in any insulation?

I live in NW Tennessee and the weather here is really nice. Hot and humid summers, mild winters. The tiny home is insulated with R15. All the walls, floor and ceiling is insulated. I just got the couch/bed delivered this morning. New KZbin video will uploaded later tonight. The bathroom will be a composting toilet with a galvanized trough for a standup shower. Heated water will be handled by a small 2.5gallon water heater.

The cedar counter tops are beautiful but don't chop food on them. Cedar is a soft wood and will not hold up to chopping.

im doing a similar thing. i have land in vermont. doing the tiny house thing. i work in cali seasonally and travel back to vermont so it's going slow. good luck, keep up the progress and god bless.

@@JustinsOffGridAdventures the septic system and accepting the fact I might have to do compost. im ordering a old hickory building shed to convert. im still in the beginning. i dont plan on recording the process. im camera shy. lol

@@stretchyjim1 Yea, septic and water are the two things to really think about being off grid. I'll be doing a composting toilet but though of making an outside that mimics the tiny home on the opposite side. Not sure yet. Well, keep me posted on the progress through comments then.
