This is a brilliant cautionary tale for our time! And this song is not only catchy, but because of its compositional wit, it allows the mind to wander as it reconsiders the entire film, because as the song is stuck in one’s head, the great hymn, “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot“ invariably is recalled. This in itself is something that brings a new level of meaning to what it means to be intelligent and more important, what it means to be genuine, or should I say, the genuine article, and the necessity of redemption. Bravo, bravo, and great acting all around.

Oh, how this film resonates with me! I just applied for an office job thinking I was totally capable with my knowledge of word, excel, powerpoint and coffee making. But NO! They didn't want me, either, little 'puter. They put me in a box, too. Grrrr. I love this film about time.

This remarkable film is a great reminder of impermanence as what was so impressive to us at one time can later be taken for granted. There is depth beyond the bottom of the box here.
