I'd love to be able to "get" the 3 Principles, but the more I watch, listen and read, the more confusing it seems. The 3P groups I've joined, (and the people I know in real life) seem to consist of people paying to coach or be coached in the Principles, often for hundreds of £$ per session. I "won" a three hour coaching session with a very well known Three Principles teacher. The value was $900. A Zoom call at $300 an hour? I couldn't justify receiving the prize so I donated it to a group member who I knew would "get it", and benefit from the shared (expensive) wisdom. What Would Syd Think? WWST I think his message has been somehow lost in translation and some people are seeing the sharing as an opportunity to make money. This doesn't "feel" right.

Syd once said that you have to be able to make a living out of what you do. But if that is our main motivation in sharing the principles it will shine through and won’t serve you well.

Unfortunately, it appears that all of Syd's tapes are of poor quality as they are reproductions. Evidently in an effort to turn his epiphany into a systematic therapeutic approach, they wanted to minimize the spirituality/religous sounding aspects of the Three Principles so that it would be accepted on a wider scale (probably a reasonable idea.) And that is why you don't find high quality Syd recordings on KZbin today.
