Nice figure just expensive. Best from the website with a coupon code but still way too much. One of the few that really do the body fairly. I believe marvel legends did she hulk pretty well, good abs etc.

I followed your advice, but i did go a bit further. I than pullid him gently over the top of a 50cl coca cola screw cap, held him above the kettle when it boiled, to steam him, that realy helped, and he goes a lot deeper over his head, like it should. And he stays in that form. The only thing that i am not happy with, is that the tip is to short, so you cant get that cool twist in it. So i filled that up with some foam, and shaped him a bit better. And the sculp is also not that awesome, the back of his head, is very thin rooted.... that sucks.

You NEVER use a Heat Gun on figures! Hair dryer is the Best, heat from hair dryer isn't as intense as heat gun.

I love the Fire and Ice franchise. Have no issue waiting for more figures though. Norseman …great painting . Figure makes a great army builder. The Conan soon to be revealed.5star. I would prefer figures based on the art of the Master. Ice Giants from Conan plus so many more. Future…please , hint , hint.. Tarzan , John Carter 🤙🏼

I am quite impressed with your ability to work in with super sculpey. Of all the out-there sculpture resins, this one remains a favorite. I would recommend "milliiput" or another two-part resins. Similar are "tamia epoxy putty" quick style, or smooth surface. These are quite expensive, and are meant for small details, as you know. Good Job! take care.

Not ideal I know, but heat the hair and press it down fully. You should not have to heat the hands to pop off. We are going to make more Fire and Ice. :)

Thanks for the review! Been on the fence of getting this and really need the review before I buy. Articulation is not bad, I think the body sculpt of this is excellent! The anatomy looks amazing, so it’s perfect for different museum standing poses. The faces look nicer/prettier than the promo shots, which is nice.

I know these are amazing art pieces with a hint of articulation, in an articulated world im comparing mattels cringer against this panther price and articulation. I miss my OG T2 Terminator MMS version. You're 100% correct, the leather or whatever it is that they used seemed pretty realistic to real leather. The only thing that needed an upgrade on that figure was the head sculpt. It looks fine with the glasses though. Actually sold a majority of my Terminator figures because of my illness and I was out of work. I needed money. I miss them all. This makes me so angry. Hot Toys gave us so many quality figures back in the day. Now the materials they use suck. How expensive is pleather? It blows my mind how cheap shit has got 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️😂

Weird, I got mine in ok condition. I think the hands should be pulled lightly with care. Why need to remove the armor, it’s just for displaying. Each Hot Toys have different accessories. I love the headsculpts, not a fan of real hair. It’s better to buy sealed rather than second hand. My opinion.

man, NONE of that is leather. NONE. at best a pressed material (like a cheap belt). mostly all fabric with a coating (think cheap sofa). the coating, like all plastics degrades. working with actual leather at that scale, because of thickness and size, would be prohibitively expensive

@juepuctaGZ That is impossible because that dial of destiny Indiana jones is said to have a real leather jacket, shoes, and whip, and at most he’s worth $335, that is within the average price ranges of these figures and that’s with the inclusion of real leather. They were able to get real leather thin enough in 1/6th scale.

I had the EXACT same thing happen to my first Star Lord... had the get rid of the old long coat because it disintegrated and I also tossed the bag as bad as that felt. I bought the exact same short coat and its holding up well. I also lost my Age of Ultron Black Widow costume due to the disintegration as well. Feels bad.

Thanks for this share! My Crow’s jacket and pants are falling apart!!! It looks horrible! I looked online to get a replacement! Found another pleather set for 100.00 usd. Kept looking and found another for $400.00 dollars only jacket! I didn’t buy either! 100.00 for pleather that will fall apart in two or three years. No! 400.00 for just the jacket!! That’s the price of another figure in diecast! These figures are great looking and pricey! That’s why I’m thinking of cutting down on which ones to buy. And I’m seriously thinking of stopping collecting 1/6 figures. Go to statues. Although that has its issues as well.

I would rather pay slightly more for better materials that don’t deteriorate. I absolutely loathe pleather. No belts and straps and accessory parts should be made of anything but pliable rubber or plastic.

@@tessjess1Yeah, my Star Lord is just destroyed. I will have to pose him without the coat until a 2.0 is made with a real leather coat. I managed to salvage my Crow figure with a full leather set from eBay. My black widow seems fine, but I’m guessing it’s only a matter of time. I updated my TDKR Catwoman and Bane with the 2.0 releases, so that’s fixed. Anything else, I’m hoping I can fix with Angelus leather paints. Some things just can’t be salvaged. Hot Toys and third party companies really need to ditch this material. It has a huge stigma at this point. Why keep using it? My T2 Arnold is in the same state as yours. Why can’t they all last that long?

It’s like they’re expecting us to go out and buy products and try to do maintenance on our figures, that is unacceptable, we should not have to do maintenance on these figures because they should not be using shitty materials that will deteriorate like a cheap $10 knockoff Barbie doll.
