Hello! Do you know if it is mostly the same for a 1015x? It gets the overheat orange light but only when turning it off. I can use it for several hours just fine but when I turn it off I get the orange light and have to unplug it. I am thinking it is not faulty since the projector works well. Maybe cleaning it would do it? Thank you

hola, tengo un proyector viosonic no prende nada, un dìa vi una pli, y al otro dìa ya no prendiò, y me comento mi esposa que le paso un trapo encima, y creo que bloque al pasar el trapo por las teclas manuales, y como no hay control, no puedo ver si con el lo puedo desbloquear, gracias de antemano.

i tookk mine apart last year becasue of this error, and found that the fan wasnt spinning, but gave up becasue it wasnt available locally. Now online sellers have it, but i've lost the original fan so i dont know what model to order How do i work it out? any idea? Its that exact projector in this video. Is there just one particular model of fan for every one of the same projector model worldwide? or is there differnet models for different countries power requirements?? i bought this in australia and was using it in philippines, so perhaps a frequency issue caused the failure. Philippines is the only country with 230V 60hz. :/
