Nice racing! Amazing progress this weekend. It's difficult to navigate a gaggle like that. You did well to back out of some passing opportunities where the door may have closed on you. 09:20 was a big risk but you executed it well. 12:40 was a bad idea and could have ended in disaster. Being 2nd in the pack isn't a bad place to be, you needed his draft down the back straight, so gaining that spot would have been useless anyway. Following closely is difficult and requires a lot of concentration. The trick is to hit your marks without thinking too much about what the car ahead is doing. Shifting shouldn't make that grinding sound, I think you're just being too forceful with it. It requires a light touch. You're getting lost on downshifts a lot, which is normal, you just need to practice that. I like to get my downshifts done as early as possible so the car can settle under braking and I can focus on turn-in. The engine braking on the rear wheels also helps, in my opinion.

@pacmag951 I don’t think you understand that you kinda do have to play with the throttle in order to get the car loose it’s not like the world of outlaws game where you can just hold the throttle down the entire time.
