Riverside is a small mom and pop burger joint that has been serving smash burgers for over 90 years. I believe it’s a must for anyone staying in Charlottesville. Petit Pois and Fluerie are both French inspired restaurants, under the same ownership. Petit Pois is slightly more affordable, but both restaurants are incredible. They should be at the top of anyone’s list, who are looking for an elevated casual experience.

You also missed best pizza Piace Pizza on lady's island. Hands down best around. Recently went to Beedoos for burgers it was very good, best in the area so far, but it's more of a fast food /take out vibe place unless you like eating basic with no AC sometimes.

Lady's Island Dockside is always packed but it's hit or miss, they also always have cooling problems imo. More of a tourist trap vibe to me, but amazing cornbread. Some of these places I have yet to go to. Red Rooster has amazing food, but the kitchen struggles at times due to lack of local staffing.

You missed Roadhouse Ribs, best BBQ in Beaufort. I recommend the Brisket, ribs, pulled pork, mash potatoes and gravy (a must), and the onion straws. And if you want to die, the burnt end mac and cheese :)

There's a heavy presence of the non seasoning folk in this video. Make a different menu where the food taste good to those who like spice and seasoning please.

Just a warning... many of the images/videos are stock footage and not shot in the actual locations. Not a bad list, but there are few other "hidden" gems that should of made the list over a couple listed. Page's Okra Grill and Langdon's are definite Mount Pleasant favorites.

As a Savannah native, I disagree with most of your choices. All you’ve done is highlight the more kitschy establishments thrown in with a few of the better restaurants to lend credence to your personal favorites. A perfect example of go home and try again.

While it’s fast food, I’d be remiss in my duties as a Mobilian if I didn’t mention Foosackly’s Chicken Tenders. This local favorite is fast, popular, and some of the best chicken tenders in the area.

Bull Street Tacos has some of the best tacos in town. Midtown, the best sandwiches and awesome bands on Saturday night, Midtown Deli the best bagels and deli sandwiches. Castaway, some of the best fish tacos and fish and chips, for bbq there is Wileys on Wilmington Island

I LOVE Beedos! Don't get to go very often, but when I do it is always fabulous. The biggest factor to me is consistency, as I wouldn't recommend a place to someone unless I knew it was good every single time.

As a resident of the area, it's Hilton Head Island, not Hilton Head. And since it's an island, it is ON, not IN. And as far as Hudson's, I have traveled in every state, Hudson's is mediocre, at best.

My girlfriend and I spent a week in Savannah, as a gift from her husband. We loved Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room! I came home with her cookbook. We enjoyed a Beignet at Hueys on the River, we visited many restaurants during our time there and thoroughly enjoyed every one of them! l
