Great review 👏 👌 👍 🙌 I never tried the gamefinger buttons for some reason I don't find the octo shape of them appealing. As for the Nobi I have 3 of them 😂😂 so yeah I love that stick too🎉

First off, many thanks for your review. It is very useful. I have 2 questions if you would be kind to answer :) 1) Can you remap one of the extra directional buttons for something else? Say for example that I want to play an action 3D game (PoE 2) and I want to assign something different to one of the extra buttons, the way the Hitbox CrossUp works. Would that be possible? 2) This one is a stretch, apologies, but I will try :) If I am in Seoul for a week, do you think IST would be able to assemble me one of these? :) Once again, thank you 🙏

Hey sorry for late reply. You'd have to change the wiring for the buttons. Istmall have a store in Seoul, you could just visit them there!

I got some weird bug with this controller on 2.4 ghz dongle. Whenever I press up on the dpad for some extensive time like going around the map on sf 6 world tour, the dpad will get stuck on that input even after I stopped pressing on it. Very strange. I dunno if it is latency issue or maybe the dpad is getting sticky somehow (it doesn't feel sticky at all tho). It will just happen once in awhile so not too big a deal. The sega saturn pro controller by retro bit is alot better at being consistent with the inputs compared to 8bitdo. But the 8bitdo m30 is more solidly built imo with better clicky face buttons and quality plastic. The dpad is just iffy sometimes. I still rather use the m30 for sf 6

Awesome review bro! I’m looking to get one of these soon! I was wondering if you could have them wire it to a standard layout but you answered it in the video. I’m curious to see how the Korean layout would feel in tekken. Also how did you know what color tops they offered for the nobi and how did you get two colors for your buttons and tell them where to put each color? Thanks in advance for the help!

I recently got the nobi lever, i don't play tekken but it's a really good and premium lever for sf6, just between a japanese and a Korean lever. (This is what nobi says when he talks about it "I took the best of both types to put them in the nobi lever" and you can really feel like the mixed style). I feel like it definitely have a learning curve to master it. Great video !

M1 is pom lid + metal base, I prefer the adjustable version which is full metal and you can adjust the switches‘ position. I don't like the 1c25 he used, try 1a6 switches waaay better than that crap. also for the diagonal issue my fix is either change the microswitches or try to change the orientation of the collar and pom plastic lid. feels like the CNC homing position is a bit off.

I feel like you could steal some soundproofing ideas from the custom keyboard crowd where they put different levels of foam into the keyboard to change the sound profile. Right now, you're clicking on a key that's sitting on a hollow, wooden box, with that sound just reverberating around. Might be something worth taking a look at if it's purely the sound and not the feel of the action keys.
