I did an Iron Rock Offroad Over the Knuckle conversion on the steering for my ZJ on the same Clayton's kit you have. I went with 5.5 springs for my 35's which came out perfect for me. D30 and 8.8, for comparison. I can get full tuck into the wells on the stance. Nice work so far BTW.

Hell Yeah Bro, I love my ZJ, Great Off-road Rig IMO
@bradbest1423 күн бұрын
If you used the stock spring perches then they sit roughly 1-1.5inches taller compared to axle center then the stock Dana 30. That could be be part of the reason it sits taller then expected

Check out IRO's springs, 5.5" ZJ springs are closer to what your probably want. The stock pitman arm would probably give you the adjustment you need for the drag-link.

First, I forgot that you were in North Carolina and I am glad that youall are good and safe. Second, Hand slap to the head for the washer debacle, You learn by doing and from others. Depending on where you are you can get these kind of things made in house at auto glass shops, not like technaglass but a real custom auto glass place. Out here in north Utah we have Valley Glass, but take some pics and call around. I have the exact glass break in my old comanchee and they cut me a piece of tempered glass to match and installed it in less that two days for 200$
