So insight is the symbiosis opening to the flow?
@projectmalus2 жыл бұрын
It seems to me that awareness is of quality and has quantity. Breathing CO reduces quantity only, in a linear way, while quality has this expansion/contraction vibe and the action tied to that is allowance/asserting the flow of being. Allowing will always be more powerful if all is there already and our quality of life directly relates to opening rather than asserting. This is a personal thing and each person lives in the human system now which is mostly based on a symbiosis gone wrong, and the power from this is inhuman, so asserting this power will only degrade humans. It's not actually more powerful when a person is diminished like from breathing too much CO but it can feel like it when a simpler world is created and a simpler person results from that, and is distracted by drugs like sugar and CO into a gainful system for contrived value...for that inhuman side of this symbiosis. Can you guess what that inhuman partner is? It's very much part of our world. At the part about exaption now, new ways to use old equipment as partnerships form in evolution. That really helps me out to see how a problematic symbiosis like the one I hinted at can build a knowledge pool for humans. The trick now is to keep the pool and not do the harmful practice any more. Thanks.

I like at 36 min John saying clearly the heuristics of "you've got this feedback process in the brain, you've got efficiency narrowing the options, resiliency opening the options, and the fittedness of the brain to the environment is constantly evolving". Thanks. It's like the game baseball, which combines the linear moving between and adding of points and enclosing/expansion of inner and outer fields, and knocking one out of the park is a small satori, which is a transcendence of value from this to that, from adding the points to winning the game.

Respect the man, however, why interject your own personal feelings on religion and stick to the facts? Explain DNA without intelligent design...., could something or someone seed worlds with basic organism's that not only change the environment but change and grow with the environment to eventually become man?

Why does the tongue exaptation story and jibe against ID bother you so much? I don’t see the ‘interjection of personal feelings on religion’ you speak of.

"Belief systems also carefully delineate a border at which thinking stops (p.44). We find “true believers” (as Carse calls adherents to belief systems) struggling against a real or imagined other, but ultimately also struggling against the challenge to their beliefs that comes from within. " Unless, of course, you ave allowed religion to stop your thinking!

Hmmmm. At this point in the conversation, does it not seem odd to speak for all of Christianity as one person? Considering the massive scale of it's interpretation, are you sure you wish to speak for all Christians? I take your comment to mean: "[My Christianity] is not about...". And if I do that, your statement is acknowledgeable, and I honestly appreciate that you offered your opinion.

Fascinating topic - do children exercise what is a 'mutually relevant conversation' by practicing lies as part of recognizing their own sense of value or self-esteem in relationships? How does lying develop differently with children with emotion-related or attachment issues? Lee comments that children prefer the person who speaks or communicates much more than necessary-just as in mature communication, the meaning or syntax may not be as important as the tone and somatic presentations experienced by the child.
