LMAO All these reviews are done on smooth suburban or country roads, it's hilarious. Try driving in a major city with bad roads, you will soon realise how stiff the ride really is, and how much your butt and back hurts after an hour because the leather seats are flat and have no lumbar support. I could not tell during the test drive as the roads were smooth near the dealership and a 10 minute ride wasn't going to get your butt stiff enough. The suspension is overly stiff with the lower profile tyres, it bobbles and jumbles over any bumps on the road instead of dampening over them, I feel like I'm jumping around all the time and it's exhausting. I get that it's in their "Sport" spirit but it also has Touring label so it should have beeb tuned to dampen the roads more like a Touring car should. I don't need a Civiv to be a sport-car, it should have been made to be just a comfortable, useful, and practical daily driver, not some hobby car. I have had the car for 5 months now, and I HATE it. I have never hated a car so much as this one. Yup, I wish I had never purchased it. But at the time, for the price, there wasn't any other car that had this many options with a hybrid so I bit my tongue and got the car. For $30K, you do get a lot of tech. And I like the large, deep trunk, which is useful. But there are so many things wrong with the overall design, the MPG average gauge is wrong, and the piano black is dumb as it collects dust. In the sun, that diagonal angular thing at the bottom of the windshield reflects the sun's heat into your face! Such a dumb design. The window wiper doesn't wipe all the way across to the left of the driver and leaves a huge, thick streak down the window. Dumb. And why did they have to do with the wiper where the water comes out of the wiper itself than the traditional spray out of the nosel on the hood? The seat belt hinge at the bottom near the floor clanks around against the plastic of the seat hinge!!! What idiot at Honda didn't check this and change it??? The leather scrunch at the bottom of the shifter is not fixed to anything so it rattles!!! Dumb. I had to figure out something so it wouldn't rattle. The Bose stereo, to me, sounds dull. It's not punchy like I was used to in the JBL in a Toyota. It lacks a crispness the power in the subwoofer that JBL has. Bose tries to even out the sound too much with it supposed noise suppression tech. The steering feels heavy. The front end is heavier than the rear, the balance says so The front tyres have to have more air than the back! So dumb!!! It's just going to wear out the tyres quicker in an unbalanced way. I still don't get why it needed a large gas engine to get that combined 200HP when all they had to do was put in a bigger hybrid battery and more torque on the electric engine, with less gas use for even better mileage, by balancing out the car out so it didn't have to have more air in the front end. Oh yeah that's right it's not a Toyota LOL Therefore, this Civic is unnecessary heavy. It could have got 60 MPG had they through it through more. It's a Civic...... but they made this bigger than it needs to be, with a bunch of options it doesn't need and therefore sort of almost cannibalises into the Accord, it's so dumb. If it was just a hair smaller and cheaper by a couple thousand dollars, it would probably sell more. There is a reason why Honda had been struggling and was ranked 7th in the world in sales, far behind Toyota, and why Honda needed to merge with Nissan to catch up, as it were........... I really don't think any leadership types at Honda even drove this car and took it for a real test on real roads, feeling out all these things of the inside of the car that I'm describing, because if I was an owner of a car company and found all these annoyance, I would never have released the car to the public......... The rattles and clanks inside the car bug the heck out of me. I can't believe nobody at Honda noticed.

The Dodge Hornet RT PHEV is an excellent engineered small suv by Alfa Romero for Dodge! I would be more inclined to purchase the Hornet GT for myself as I have no and/or little interest whatsoever in either a hybrid or a full EV electric vehicle! Go to a CDJR Dealer and take a test drive and don't listen to the disparagement and negativity directed towards the Dodge Hornet by critics who most likely have never even been inside a Hornet let alone driven one! Personally I like both the styling and power of the Dodge Hornet! Drive a Dodge Hornet and most likely your overall perception of it will take a 360! Thank you, CarDadBill, for an excellent review of the Dodge Hornet RT PHEV! You have even changed my overall opinion of PHEVs a little more towards the positive side!

I agree. Your video is really well made. Everything about the video is great except the subtitles. Good luck. I just subscribed to your channel. I cannot believe that Hyundai has allowed this car to have such little space for the rear passengers. I mean it really does have a negative effect on me. It almost looks dangerous. For that, they should have made it a coupe.

Great review! I have the ‘23 Reserve and love the design (always been a Lincoln fan), but one big beef I have are squeaks and rattles all over the interior. So when I heard you say that, it caught my attention right away. Dashboard/screen squeaks, seats squeak when I shift my weight, sunroof panel rattled (dealer fixed that one), and I believe there is noise coming from the center console (when it’s open or shut). Was thinking of going with this GT phev for ‘25 before it’s gone, but fit and finish have me second guessing. Oh, and at 12k miles, I had to have the turbo waste gate actuator replaced. Luckily under warranty otherwise woulda been a $3k repair!

I'd argue this might be the best half ton in the premium market right now... That being said I just don't think I could put this kind of money into a company that quite possibly could be out of business before the bumper to bumper warranty is up.

My 2024 Ram 2500 has 25k miles on it now and the seats are already wearing out. Best riding 4X4 you can buy, but I am seeing a lot of things making it very questionable over long term ownership. Will it last? That is the question when buying one. My 2018 Ram 2500 was a good truck and we had a fleet at work. They are rock solid reliable until you reach the 130k mile range then things start popping up. My 2024 I drive at work is identical to the 2018 as far and engine and features it has the 6.4l Hemi which I am glad because the Hurricane engine has not been out long enough to see what problems may crop up. It certainly looks like it could be one of their best engines, but time will tell whether they are or not. Nice looking truck man:P

Great review. I loved the car when it was drivable. To and from work on all EV power - no gas. Sporty looking and fun to drive. Unfortunately, there's a major recall on these for a possible brake failure. Even worse, they don't have a fix. So my new car sits in my garage as I wait for a repair or a buyback from Dodge.

One month ago I picked up my new 2024 Outback Limited and I love it. 74 years old with a lot of long cross country days long drives. I could not justify the turbo upgrade since for 10 years I've been with the 2.5 naturally aspirated engine, and very pleased. The Harmon Kardon is so much better than any sound I've had in any car. My one worry (and possibly one reason I should have gone Touring) is these "fake leather" seats feel too hard after several hours. The dealership told me the seats will break in and become comfortable

would a single exit serve this car better? yes, yes, single exit, but w/o a turbo, a single exit is lighter and should provide more "rumble" despite the ELH on the the FA/FB engine cars...something like the noble performance or Invidia N1 or the Fujitsubo Authorize RM...not that this nameless piece isn't nice; but possibly not necessary. 🤔

Enjoyed the review but. Did you use the DCC and set it at the highest comfort level for the ride? And the Golf R is the GTI AWD. That's what the golf R is. And lastly as an owner of a 380 edition SE you get used to the infotainment system very quickly. you use the short cuts for things you use a lot or that are harder to find that you would use a lot. It's pretty much set it and forget it for almost everything else. You end up after the set it and forget it part in android auto or apple carplay after that.
