Now, all they need is a really cool theatre. This piece always puts a smile on my face. Lovely work. Challenging piece. 💖

My toddler is listening to this while… she just got off her rocking horse and is now playing her xylophone whilst a looping video of horses is onscreen 😂❤ Thank you.

I conducted this piece for my high school orchestra as a music theory class project. I loved conducting. It’s like the orchestra is your instrument.

In America, the test of a true intellectual is someone who can listen to the Finale of William Tell Overture and not think of the Lone Ranger. I flunked that test.

The USS Ranger always played this as we were heading out, be it an exercise or the start of Desert Storm or Ranger's last ride. (1993). (the part heard at the start of the Lone Ranger)

The drums!!!!!!!!! The bass and kettle drums were on fire!!! They gave the piece a feel of the 1812 Overture without bells. This is and will always be my favorite classical piece. This performance was 10 out of 10. My hat is off to the conductor and teachers who worked hard with these performers. It paid off!!!

This tune was used as a theme tune so you can't do that on television

Rossini made his fortune writing the score for old Warner brothers cartoons. Parts of this are probably in 3 dozen of them.

When I was just a wee tyke I used to watch The Lone Ranger on TV. My parents had a 78 record of this and I would play it while galloping through the house pretending to be The Lone Ranger on his trusty steed Silver. This was a fond memory about 65 years ago.
