I don’t know why this vid popped up but I absolutely love this tune! It sounds like something I would of bought on some obscure Belgium record label in the early 90’s

@@HAHb-zc2dp you know what, this is the rudest and disgusting comment I’ve ever received on this channel, and let me tell you I’ve had some doozies. I’ve grown up my whole life wanting to express myself creatively through art and fashion and my hair has always been a symbol of my individuality and freedom to express myself. I have also received such horrible comments over the years from people like you who want to make fun of me for being different, and I guess you’re just too stupid to see the point. I’m here to make stuff to inspire people and make people happy, and young e to zoom in on personal comment about my appearance which is damnright rude and horrible. Go away and never visit my channel again you pathetic excuse for a human.

Sequenced bass lines using sequencers huh? Good they didn't sequence the bass line with a microwave.

Great video! When this album came out I was 11 and not a bass player yet. After playing bass for 35 years it becomes easier to pick out these "busy" but perfect bass lines. Thanks for breaking it down!

Thats sick! One question: if i wnat to add another shs 101 for example or any other cv gated synth, do i use the same cv track of Analog Four or what else? I knw there is a splitter for cv outs on A4, but where do i make the pattern fro the second cv outs? thanks
@jeddyevalАй бұрын
@@whatistau sorry I’ve actually never tried that, only had it sending cv gate via one and clock via another. I think you can only have one sequence coming from the cv track at a time. You can get around this by for example programming something into the sh101s load/play feature and just send it clock.
@whatistauАй бұрын
@@jeddyeval that is one way, right! i wonder if you have 4 cvg outputs running two synths, you probobally need two cv gate tracks
@jeddyeval28 күн бұрын
@@whatistau yeah if you get splitter leads you could do that, and actually i think there may be a way to make your other onboard tracks 1 2 3 or 4 to spit out cv info rather than inbuilt syntnengine. I'll check next time i plug it in!
@whatistau27 күн бұрын
@@jeddyeval im thinking of using it as my main 808 style sequencing tool, for sh 101 and another cv synth. and the rest of 3-4 midi tracks for a percussion from any mutitimbral synth of inbuilt engine.

What cable did you use Jed to link up the elektron with the SH101 through the click in hole? Also what hole do you put the other end of the cable in on the elektron?

Good video, but one minor correction (and Robin could chime in to verify) at the 0:57 mark you flashed the Linndrum LM-2 which they never used. They did use the LM-1 briefly but Robin hated it because it was such a popular drum machine that everybody was using at the time, so by late 83 and 84 (when Pearly Dewdrops Drop came out) he had switched to the Emu Drumulator.

hey guys, so I’m a complete beginner but it’s my dream to make EBM music as it’s one of my favorite genres of all time. Like I said, I’m a total beginner and my budget is currently quite limited, so I’ve got a question - are there any decent synths & drum machines you could recommend for a lower price? (whether the author of the video or someone in the comments who knows what’s up) I’d greatly appreciate it. Great track by the way :) I love it
