I have a large square plate a friend gave us 24 years ago. It’s decoupage with a gold edge. I love it. I love yours too. What a great idea for my geli prints!

I like this idea for Christmas. I have some blk and wht w gold gel prints i made that I think might look great if the back was painted black. The gold in them is a Golden heavy body so I could try that too. I also have some pretty green and red with gold and silver gels prints I just finished on wet strength tissue and those would make very fun small christmas candy bowls. The back could be a heavy body red or green acrylic. It would be fun to rim the edges with metallic but i may not have a sure enough hand for that. Another idea: fake gold leaf, that would be awesome and it's gorgeous with a red background so that could be the back paint. And do I hear napkins, anyone.? A world of possibility there. So many ideas pouring in! See ya'll in Giftville, lol.

It turned out so pretty! I can't really see what supplies you are using. Are these your own gelli prints? What gloss medium are you using? Couldn't you take a blade and cut off the edges to clean it up?

A blade. I don’t think of that I might give that a try. Those are my own gel prints and I used Goldens gloss gel medium the gold paint was Liquitex

This is my 3rd time watching this, it definitely looks fun and interesting. I will certainly give it a try. I had to come back and rewatch after the interesting tempura painting you had just done with the golden ratio. Super good stuff. Still loving your channel and appreciate getting to watch the art as it's happening. TFS
