Did this help with damp etc ? Is it far too small for a 3 bed house
@EPCWiltshire5 күн бұрын
It's small for a 3 bed but I have installed vent axia extractor fan that is humidity controlled and I have a meaco dehumidifier see this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJy9opiQf5hlh80si=I1RzFxjS7SYBIDZt I use these amzn.to/40zR1tz with the 2 dehumidifiers and my extractors to keep the humidity % under 60% and I don't have any condensation any more. Hope that helps
@CM-17234 күн бұрын
@EPCWiltshire yea we have them axia extractors , and also PIV vent in loft which blows air into the house . We had one for 10 years In our last house and did nothing to help damp and mold also been in this house 2 years which as a PIV which does nothing . So I'm thinking only way to go is a dehumidifier

What would you do if the open fire was boarded up? Just leave it off?
@EPCWiltshire7 күн бұрын
If its boarded it counts as closed. To include an open fire in an epc the opening needs to be greater then 200mm. This means fire places with closed dampers are not included as an open fire

Really interesting thanks! I’ve just started assessing in Northampton and have been massively over complicating it! Do you just upload one window picture if they’re all the same? I’ve been taking photos of every single window and radiator in the house?!
@EPCWiltshire7 күн бұрын
No need to take that many photos 30 is a sensible amount. I have made a new FB group for DEAs thought you may want to join facebook.com/share/2uJqHTSTAYa7RTW2/
