What would you suggest if a person has locs and their locs are thinning in different spots of the loc? there’s also some locks missing as well as some being uneven due to thinning (half the loc just fell out) would it be better to cut an start over or try an find somebody who could fix it?

Hi, locs can thin ot fall put due to different reasons, it might be the maintenance method. Sometimes, interlocking with crochet method might be better than retwisting. It

2. Also, using the wrong hair oils and hair products generally, can cause hair loss thereby thinning and breakage. 3. Retwisting too tightly or putting too much stress on your roots too might be a problem. Maybe check these points and see if any of these helps. Please let me know if I can help in any way
