Any progress? From the video I wouldn't know from my perspective whether the outlet is good or not. So if you haven't already, verify the outlet is working properly. I'm not familiar with popcorn makers but they might have a fusible link that might need replacing. Have you watched any videos dealing with troubleshooting that machine? And as already mentioned voltage checks will reveal at what point the power is missing.

I made another video about it the popcorn machine had a box where the cable came out of the back and there was a loose wire so my dad fixed it

you should test continuity with a tester from either prong of the plug to the lamp holder with the switch on. it seems somewhere there's a loose connection, my guess is between the power cord and somewhere before the switches, with this test you should see if i am right or not. the other thing to do, of course, should be to measure the voltage on the lamp and on the popper. if no voltage, broken connection somewhere, if voltage, lamp and popper are broken. be VERY careful if you decide to test the voltage, one mistake and you get electrocuted
