What if you do not need sponsorship, and you are sponsoring yourself via eb2?
@StuartBradley4 ай бұрын
What if you don’t need sponsorship because you are self-sponsoring? Sounds like you still need sponsorship. Until you are sponsored - by one means or another - sounds like it would be safe to assume the answer is yes? (Not legal advice)

Great video Stuart. how about if i am applying on their website and that question pops up as a yes or no question. The ATS software or algorithm will reject my application before it even reaches the recruiter

I'm an international student on F1 visa and I will be graduating in May 2024. Should I prepare for job interview and then apply or apply more jobs and side by side prepare for interview and keep applying?
@StuartBradley9 ай бұрын
Do both! Most important is the actual meeting of people via networking. As long as you network and commit to learning how, everything will fall into place.
@VN-ux2ep9 ай бұрын
Hi I just havee a question, " you are going to have to", "you're gonna hope that my sponsorship can work out".....aren't these phrases a bit overly assertive? like, " look at the work I have done. I'm the rockstar here, you have no other option but to sponsor me, c'mon now".... I will be answering this question in two years time and hence my confusion...😐😐😐😐
@StuartBradley9 ай бұрын
I suppose that is one way you might be hearing it. Come to the discussion with confidence and a smile. If you prefer a different phrasing, go for it. No one is saying I am a rockstar and c’Mon in the video. Hope this helps

Hello Stuart, I will be using the first response from this video in my interview this week. The company I am interviewing for is small and presumably new to the idea of international students and sponsorships. The hope is to get in the company by providing a brief idea and later explaining them the process as and when the need arises.
@StuartBradley9 ай бұрын
Keep the international student thing off the table, unless they bring it up. But don’t fail to bring it up. One idea on timing is after the first interview and during the second round if there is one. Focus on understanding the needs of the company and how you are interested in helping them address those needs. Sell them on your ability and services to solve their particular problem first. Then possibly the issue about international status will be a minor detail.
@thisispartaa9 ай бұрын
That is great advice. Thank you so much, Stuart! I will be sure to include it at a later stage in the interview process by portraying how I can help them fill the need, along with mentioning sponsorship.
@pinkcharms9 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, the norm now is asking this question when submitting your application, and your application just gets filtered out if you need sponsorship.
@StuartBradley9 ай бұрын
Agreed. This way of responding is not a “silver bullet”. Domestic or international student just getting started out, ideal (necessary) to focus on generating relationships and referrals through networking. Applications do play a role, and interact with applying, but applying is the only arrow in our quiver, we are going to be job-hunting a very long time.

As an F1 student in a STEM program who is graduating this month, do i require sponsorship at my first job or only in the future?
@VN-ux2ep9 ай бұрын
Hi there, as a prospective STEM candidate, you say you are graduating in a month and you haven't got a job offer? Just...curious..
@peak_91111 ай бұрын
1. 2x more college fees for international students. 2. No jobs for international students because description CLEARLY says, we "ain't" sponsoring, so FUCK OFF. 3. Only 60-90 unemployable days on OPT, so if you are unemployed for even 30 days and get a job, and got fired unfortunately you only have 30-60days left of the quota. 4. Now comes the H1B lottery, you didn't got one then go back to your country, but even if you didn't, you most likely should have covered your education loan. Even reaching to the H1B is a very big thing, seriously.

Hi Stuart! I have an interview with a recruiter, and he might be one of the enforcers. I can’t really choose to talk to someone else, so once the question comes up, should I use one of your responses?

@@vluessky HR will always have a policy. If the policy is not to sponsor, while we do want to phrase our need for sponsorship in the best way possible, sometimes the right audience is not HR. HR’s job is to enforce policy. If you’re looking for an opportunity in a firm that does not sponsor, then it will be up to you to meet with the influencers of policy to make an exception.

She was cheated by an Indian she is Gujarati and she is speaking Gujarati, that is why she was so confident that her illegal off campus job offer for cash only was legitimate. She knows what she is doing she is over 18 she is an adult she is responsible for her own actions, if she doesn't have financial education that's her fault American High School students get financial education American Junior High School students get financial education it's not my fault that India has inferior education. It's her fault that she is a student she knows what she is doing she knows that she was trying to cheat and get illegal off campus job and she was frauded by Indian Gujarati speaking her same language. Indians refuse to learn English fluently, they object to taking English classes before coming to America and starting their masters degree they refused to come to campus and take English classes and financial classes they refuse they refuse to do research they refuse to do all the things they need to do to succeed in life they want to do the minimum they want to cut corners and they get caught being cheated by indians. Even Yudi J just want subscribers to his KZbin channel and to sell you credit card and get other referral link kickbacks, this is a business to him, he is not telling you reality, he doesn't tell you that you have better opportunity as an Indian going to Mexico and getting citizenship in 5 years then working in America he has no clue what he's talking about he's not an education consultant he's just a fool he doesn't have any data he always gives a misinformation and dumb Indians believe him it's their fault for not doing their own research
