One of the saddest days of my life- getting this record in the mail after waiting for it for months, only ,to get a record that has a massive scratch across this track, making it unplayable. It almost brings me to tears, still to this day 😢

The Living Groove by Natureboy. It's also a better record overall, I'd say. Quite a few artists have sampled it.

@@PLJENNYeah that's the one. But MAW didn't sample the Nature Boy record. They sampled the same original source that Nature Boy sampled. It's George Benson - The World is a Ghetto. But thank you for reminding me about the Nature Boy track. Tomato had a lot of good stuff! Chunky but Funky.

@@djpopcorn Yes meant the original sample but couldn't place it. 20 years ago, I would have been able to. I like this version but think Milo does it better as a whole proposition, his drum work holds it together better. Just realised Milo is on here too now himself with loads of unreleased stuff. Most of it on this channel, 4luxRecordings.

@@PLJENN Thanks for the heads up! I'll check out his channel. Yeah, I always dug the Tomato Record version so much more than this maw version. Tomato, when they came out on the scene their drums were just so thick! Loved that chunky sound. Nature Boy had some cuts!

@@djpopcornWas on black label too and was all reissued recentlyish on that channel's label. Something that appears to be increasingly common that old work is being reissued on vinyl, download or uploaded here. Yes fantastic record as were a number of his others. He make Kerri and Jovonn's drums seem tame.
