@@jasonsmith3962 this is sort of true. I am not at all “uneducated” on this topic. An ECU tune WILL void warranty coverage on the engine/powertrain if something breaks. This is very common knowledge. Here is the actual truth- “ECU tunes are a gray area when it comes to factory and extended warranty compliance. Making modifications to an engine may void coverage.* So, a car owner concerned with preserving warranty protection will want to skip this upgrade, no matter how tempting the effort.” www.endurancewarranty.com/learning-center/extended-warranty/9-performance-upgrades-that-wont-void-your-car-warranty/#:~:text=ECU%20tunes%20are%20a%20gray,matter%20how%20tempting%20the%20effort. Your ECU counts how many times it’s been flashed. If you tune your car, and you bend some rods, the first thing a dealership will do is check to see if the car has been tuned. If it has, they WILL NOT cover the repairs under the warranty. This is mine and thousands of others experience. Now there are “tunes” that DONT flash the ECU, which in that case you can get away with it. However this is not common nor have I seen anyone use a “piggyback” type tune on a performance vehicle. Another way to confirm your ethanol content if you don't have a test kit or flex fuel sensor is to simply check your LTFT. The tune can be setup to allow you to change the fuel with the engine running for up to 60 seconds, you can then adjust the fueling with the engine running until your LTFT reaches within +- 3%. Please test this at idle and also at light load 3000 rpm with the engine running to confirm that you have correctly set the ethanol content. Finally it takes about 10 minutes for a returnless system to empty the DFI pump and fuel rails at idle, so ensure you do some light driving before attempting to hone in the ethanol content. We highly recommend a flex fuel sensor (with or without CAN BUS integration) to confirm your ethanol reading.

You can get the ghost cam setup to idle higher if you want. Lund have refined it quite a bit in the last year, with the PCMTEC multitune it is setup to slow how fast the VCT swings at idle so it takes ~3-5 seconds to blend the ghost cam in, this prevents any stalling issues when switching with the engine running. With a 10 speed you can turn it on and off repeatedly without any stalling issues. We have set up on our own test car a "staged" ghost cam which is progressively more aggressive. This is not something Lund offer that I am aware of but it can be done.
