Great question! I need to do another video explaining this. There are actually quite a few options available, but for any of them to work you must remember where the value sits. And by that I mean that there are two main factors underpinning your strategic position which you cannot forget: 1. You own the list. Without actually handing over the list or somehow transferring your relationships with the influencers, the company would only have the concept of creating their own list, which remains theoretical at best. 2. You will be managing this list, ensuring the company benefits from the promotions conducted by the influencers. In the video I explained that you could/should be working with small-scale influencers (1-5k followers) who are actively seeking to expand their audiences and opportunities for sponsorship. You can arrange for these influencers to receive something for free as an incentive to promote the brand. This results in a win-win situation: they get free products and visibility for collaborating with brands. With the added benefit that when they make their promotions they don’t need to say it’s a sponsored post or paid ad. It falls under the barter system which isn’t regulated. Additionally, you can set up a pay-on-performance model, where influencers effectively become affiliates for the company, earning money by driving sales. (Coupons, affiliate links etc) Since you are managing a pre-cultivated list of highly focused influencers with aligned audiences, you can charge a management fee to coordinate their efforts. However, the company will still need to budget for paying the influencers a small fee. This arrangement is similar to how a business would pay a marketing agency a management fee and also budget for the advertising costs themselves. There are lots of ways to price this up. Pay per sale, pay per view, number of mentions and a slew of other performance indicators depending on what the brands goals are. This is a great question. Thank you.
