Actually, it is way older than 800 years. The tollund man is believed to have been from the iron ages, so around 2400 years.

so, does that means if i put a pool of water with death plant in it and autumn leaves and moss... make sure it stays acidic by all means... deprive it from oxygen (packed under water is deprive of oxygen itself).. make sure the water level is always there sustained in acidity.. then after many years.. it will become peat ??!! that's what you explained..

Well, that depends... Is your pool underground? Does your pool have Fresh and saltwater? Heh Edit: The pool can't grow plants or any other plants by itself.

Yes, but this process takes thousands of years naturally, which is why peat is considered unrenewable.

My son swears he and his friends saw a couple of bears in the bog about 8 to 10 years ago....it was a night in the dark and some people don't believe him.....I was wondering if anyone else in the last 10 to 15 years have seen bears in the bog. I know for sure he believes it but it would be nice to have some confirmation from others that there are still any there...or at least were there 8 to 10 years ago. thanks:)
