I remembered when I played this mission ages ago I tried getting the allspark to Optimus but yet I still died. Ik it’s supposed to be a no matter what you do you’ll die anyway type deal. But 6 year old me was determined to get that allspark to Optimus. And I’ll do it again!

I went back to watch when I realized that last bit of Dialogue woth Starscream isnt Megatron's rage at betrayal, but at Starscream's failure to do so.

Hot Take: DS Starscream is the best transformers villain ever. His lying and scheming was cranked to 11, pulling the strings and manipulating everyone to get the allspark for him. And his leadership abilities were stellar, as he crippled sector 7 and the military. Best part though? He immediately betrays you when Megatron is revived and you found out the truth. Starscream then goes on a rampage, wiping out all your friends and taking the allspark for himself, revealing him as the true main antagonist of the game

Can I just say that is a very satisfying death sound, this is gonna sound utterly psychotic but it literally feels like meat just fucking exploded against the ground the moment he hit it, very good sound design

I knew the Decepticons were Cybertronian jackasses but the ending of this version is just COLD!

One glitch I had on my first playthrough was In the “Insolent Fool” cutscene, there were two Megatrons one standing up and one lying on the ground. It never happened again even when I did the mission more than once.

Dang all that work the entire game to try to bring megs back to life only for him to call you and your team pathetic and weak and then kills you lol

i hate the final zone boss in this sonic rush game. the boss himself is good, his attacks are very creative. the developers from Dimps did a great job on the game and in particular on the bosses. but this boss has an unfair difficulty. when you play on normal difficulty, the boss will make 1 attack in 1onz, which is simply impossible to dodge. I'm talking about a large number of drones, each of which launches 2 lightning bolts. and these drones are launched randomly, so there is almost no chance of not getting hit by lightning. also on normal difficulty, he can launch a single drone that zaps you with lightning from both sides and leaves you with a very tight space. on easy difficulty, all of these boss issues have been fixed. I think that the developers should have added a hard difficulty mode to the game, in which the player would have to land 10 hits on the boss. and on the medium difficulty level, it was necessary to exclude the attack of a dozen drones and leave only the attack of one drone, which leaves a large space for you between two lightning bolts. This boss is further complicated by the fact that the game runs at 256x192 for each screen. I believe the lowest display resolution that can be used on a portable console with 3D games is 320x240, also known as qVGA

Going on a nostalgia binge for these games and I never fully appreciated how Barricade used his disguise to deceive the police into helping him try and take down Bumblebee, it's pretty neat. Shame the same level of quality in these games never really carried over into its sequels.

I like how optimus prime and megatron are actual blood brothers and megatron is the evil big bro and optimus is the kind badass young bro and megatron killing their won father makes him more sinister and when optimus prime says your sacrifice will never be forgotten to his autobot friend that hits hard.Truly a Underated game.

Lets be real, the true highlight of this game is how well Starscream is handled. The entire game, he's plotting behind your back. He bides his time and waits for the autobots to be wiped out. Then what does he do? He betrays the Decepticons, murders your friends, and seizes the allspark for himself, revealing Starscream was secretly the true main antagonist. I never saw him as main villain material, but my god the writers made him the most despicable transformers villain ever. Imo DS Starscream is one of my favorite video game villains of all time. Just how well his character is handled with clear homages to his original G1 personality is all executed perfectly. I really hope the writers of this game get to work on more transformers media. They absolutely deserve it
