It is true that many scholars find the Bible to be as accurate an account of ancient histories as MANY OTHERS. It must be pointed out in all fairness that in almost ALL cases, they were referring to only the Old Testament. Secondly, Paulnever even met Jesus, and his accounts were second hand testimony of others several decades later. Who also were not there. This is fact. As far as the argument that those who refuted the resurrection could simply produce the body still in the tomb, isn't even to be considered because there was no mention at all of a resurrection at that time. No mention of any such possibility was even mentioned until long after. Not even the Roman's, who were meticulous historians, made any mention of such. Such would have made it on their radar. In fact Jesus was written of by the Roman's, but not more or less than other political dissidents at the time. Sorry, but everything just stated IS historical facts. Don't crucify me for it. I didn't invent the actual facts. They didn't even refer to Jesus as Jesus Christ until the council of nicea over two hundred years later under Roman emperor Constantine . Sorry, but again, fact.

The Bible teaches that government meet ‘eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth’ justice. Christians that are victimized are to forgive on a personal level but certainly we should allow biblical justice to run its course even while we forgive them personally.

The fact that he calls not praying the “#1 sin of the church” proves my point , Im pretty sure there’s zero Bible for that claim.

I pray when I wake up and throughout the day, starting with the Lord’s Prayer and during the day usually for help getting my work completed for my employers and thanking Him for giving me strength, others at my factory probably think I’m talking to myself or have an earbud in and am on the phone but it’s myself praying to God, my prayers usually consist of the same requests of watching over my family and those in need, his children in Israel, our nation, our fighting forces etc, also I try not to ramble , never written my prayers down I will try that, thank you Pastor!

The KJV Bible was also translated from Greek translations and has many flaws as a result. I get it that the KJV is a direct translation of word and not of ideals like many modern forms of Scripture. However, after having read a direct translation from Aramaic there are many misinterpretations by the Greeks that have a significant impact on The Word. First and foremost is The Messiah’s name. He is Yeshua Ben Yeosef, Yeshua Ha’ Mashiach Yeshua The Messiah. Jesus is not His name and during His time on Earth would never have answered to the name Jesus. I have friends named Jan. I don’t call then John because that’s the English translation. Their name is Jan. The Messiah’s name is Yeshua. There is indeed power in His name. Another very important misinterpretation of the scriptures are the words Our Lord said on the cross. “ Eli Eli Imana sabachtani!” does not translate to “ Father, why have you forsaken me?”. The Aramaic translation actually states “ Father, Father, for this I was kept!” meaning “ for this is my purpose- the prophecy is thus fulfilled. Why would Yeshua have any doubt when He was totally aware of whom He was and His divine purpose long before He appeared as Yeshua Ben Yeosef? Christ never had any doubt whatsoever. Another misinterpretation by the Greeks- the Aramaic words for camel and rope are the same. Why anyone would even consider attempting to thread a camel through the eye of a needle seems quite remarkable. To attempt to thread a rope or twine too large to actually pass through the eye of a needle seems way more probable. There are many more to be found so before we start shooting down interpretations of which Bible is better than this or that it would be more beneficial to source scriptures that are direct translations from the original texts interpreted by those familiar with the language and culture of the time and place of Yeshua Ha’ Mashiac. After all we as believers seek The Truth. YHWY is God Almighty. Yeshua is King of Kings, Lord of Lords. He is returning. Amen.

The Textus Receptus is NOT what the church have used for two thousand years. Textus Receptus is a compilation of manuscripts (much like NA28) done by Erasmus of Rotterdam in 16th century. It contains the best manuscripts back then but there is flaws. For example, because he was competing against others that did the same thing (he wanted to have his compilation of the Greek as basis for all translations at that time) but Erasmus lacked a manuscript of Revelation that was complete (the one he had was lacking the last vers of revelation) he went to the Latin translation of the bible and translated the last vers of Revelation from Latin back to Greek. We can actually see that because that verse matches Vulgata but not the majority text that is used by the orthodox church. And because King James Version is based on Textus Receptus it carries the same flaw. I do not say KJV is bad, but it is not the best translation out there. And furthermore, English is not capable to contain the full meaning of the Greek text in one translation because the language itself is lacking. There are tempus in Greek that’s not present in English at all for example. To use multiple different translation is a way to handle this because different translation can help layout the puzzle. Take it from someone who actually reads Greek.

Well said. I would add that the command in Genesis precedes the Mosaic Law and is applicable to all of mankind. in fact, this statement is the first instance in Scripture of man being authorized by God to engage in governing the behavior of man. Thus capital punishment can be seen as *_foundational_* to human government, and is recognized as such in the passage in Romans 13. Nor is it a matter of God granting permission to exercise capital punishment. Rather, it is a COMMAND.

I think Christmas is a wonderful opportunity for the Gospel. It’s good to platform the Gospel with the focus of the moment whenever we can. Some emphasize Christmas as a “friends and family” holiday, but what about strangers, the poor, the lame? They should be included and sought out for the Gospel’s sake. You can start with your next door neighbor! (The one who frustrates you because he is “lame” at keeping up with his yard!)

So…obviously you can’t have a society if people can run around and kill other people like this , yes the death penalty is warranted if he is indeed the one that committed this crime. Isn’t this really just a “common sense” conclusion tho ? I guess I’m confused as to your motives in making a video like this as for the most part judging by the comments in other videos of yours over the past year , it would be impossible to conclude anything other than you are preaching to your church members. Do they need to be reminded that God is against killing ? No probably not. It’s almost like he’s using dude’s N.I.L. to garner more clicks , am I missing something here…
@strengthforlifepensacola

That's true; it seems obvious. The younger generations especially do not think the same way. They have been taught to be sensitive the life story of the criminal, or (as in the case of Brian Thompson) to consider from afar whether the victim actually "deserved" it, or to see the death penalty at all as brutal and an abuse of power on the part of the state. If you have ever seen a poll of the things church-goers believe, the results are always surprising. This video is a reminder that God's prescribed justice is the standard, and that we should uphold it, not be embarrassed by it.

No, that people are uncomfortable saying aloud that God commands the death penalty because of the social pressure aligned against saying things culture doesn't approve. This whole situation is sad and the Bible is clear: guilt in cases of murder requires the death penalty. There’s no getting around it. But I often think that a series of failures led to this type tragedy. Family failures. Mental health support failures. And even church failures. What? Yes. The church has failed to be aggressive in evangelism and bold preaching. Many churches are happily distracted by secondary issues and evangelism isn’t even on their radar screen. Everyone gives lip service to it, but few are engaged in reality. Ron Artest is my favorite NBA player. Some are surprised I’d say that. But I see him as a bus kid who nobody reached. Things would have been different for Ron (Mega World Peace) had someone reached him first Christ. I’m not removing personal responsibility from the guilty. No way. But I am saying that we need to redouble our evangelist efforts. Evangelism results in transformation. While many churches are bickering among themselves about personal preferences, our world is going to Hell. Let’s make Christmas a time for sharing Christ, not just cookies!
