Definitely the premier line, and in such a beautiful part of the country.

I was in this train, the atmosphere in the train was that of a school rumour perhaps, with everyone trying to figure out what happened.

Very nice vid, the shot at 4:07 was brilliant, where was it, it looks like a footpath on the east of washford? The shot at eastcombe is also amazing, how do you get there?

Thank you so much for this video and the time and great effort you put into making it . Loved the bit at four minutes when the two boys tried to run along the platform and keep up with the train . Their excitement brought back memories , yep I'm that old . As for the " Royal Scot " I had that header on my electric trainset as a kid. My mother had spent what was then a fortune to buy me the "Duchess of Montrose " Hornby engine . I remember as a kid standing on the platform train spotting at Watford Junction and the announcement of standing back from the edge of the platform as an express was approaching , as they raced by you almost got sucked into the slip stream .

Next time Tangmere visits the North East, I'll catch her. Last time I missed her, reaching 120mph in my pursuit but she still kept ahead of me.

Fantastic prototypical running to use on a model layout. Nice detail with the bridge over the road. Great video. 👌 New sub from me.

Really captured the mood here. The SVR is so atmospheric in its own right evoking the past with timeless shots of GW loco and coaches with telegraph poles. The 1400 class ,I think could capably manage a six coach rake single handed…also to be pressed into light freight turns?

Fantastic sounds and well filmed, really liked the sequence at Waterworks of 4930 and again the driver's skill to get her going but not slipping at Bridgnorth was enjoyed. That long shot at Bank Farm was a good capture. 7812 in that final scene was pure music - had to watch that a few times!

Great surround sound through my in ear phones. My favourite GWR loco, the 0-4-2 tank pulled the push-pull from Churston to Brixam and back that we took for our holiday at the old Dolphin Holiday Camp. Got a cherished photo of my Bros and me on the footplate and rode with the driver in the 'push' end one way. Great video thank you for your trouble.

Ah! The 14xx class, firing during 1953, 'Paper train', Southall to Paddington stn, platform 2 to Slough, back to Paddington, then to Reading. Using Ovoids, harder work than a 42xx.
