The reason for 130g to work perfectly cox it was well balanced vs earlier one propeller had more load, so the drone struggled to stay levelled

Thats a lot of red... I feel when your not on video, your stuck on a wall somewhere with a big white cross on your chest. q8D I used to live on those tracks with my trail bike before they shut us out and bulldozed a couple of the neat tight ones... You can ride out to the Right side gun sight for the Writes Hill guns (The track is visible at 1:36 in the distance and accessed at that point (or from the Radome, Or from round the corner of 1:12 that was cut but you can see the other track down into that valley on the right at that point.... But from the gun sight buildings it's easier to carry your bike down the creek East of the buildings...

@@imagesbydavide I made a KML of a track that could start at the foot of the Radome, Run the west side of the ridge you ran down, Pick up the big roll down as you hit the coast (as you can get huge speed and big air (even on a steel Milazo ... tho the cross wind is hell) then cross the road behind the holl you round (with the view of the gun site track) and wind down the gully to the new last goat track section. It would make one of (if not 'the') longest single run in wellington... But as you note with the track. Its all rotten rock. I ran the ol National track from the Radome road to Long Gully... Too many gaps for a non gapper. My ol Foes was suited to it but I was not.

Someone else already covered the 1st point I wanted to make, that your test weights didn't look to be centered. My 2nd point is that when lifting off from the ground (or other flat surface) the vortex created by the props tends to reduce the lift due to what I call the “doughnut effect”. In that, the prop wash directed downwards is then deflected laterally by the flat surface & curves around to the upper side of the props, reducing the available thrust. You might find increased performance by lengthening the string between the drone & the weight(s), although this can also increase oscillation & control (feedback) problems. Hand-launching would solve that problem. I read in another test article: “In our standardized thrust test, the Mini 3 Pro was able to lift 420 grams in addition to its own weight, a 2.7:1 thrust-to-weight ratio.”
@GatorWinup

@@MatteoHerbin Io sono passato dal mini2 (praticamente uguale al mini come dimensioni) al Mini3pro e il realta' la differenza dimensionale non ha un impatto significativo.
