Joseph Martinez: 4/15/2023 page 1 Louisiana State Board of Examiners. Reference No. 2023-850 I had an appointment with Dr. Gerald Calegan's, I had called in because of some pain problems. He was supposed to be some were else and because of that, he could not hear what I was saying! and when I did say something about Southgares, Robert Day his attention totally left me.I would say the pain would get so bad I can't process the pain and I forget like a seize because the pains so bad, He couldn't lessen to me when I would say that. I said. It's not a seizes! I have been dealing with pressure on my brain stem for 60 years, I have no jaw mussels, that puts me at a big disadvantage talking to people! He said he needed to go some were. Went from needing to leave, to your needing seizes meds, He let me know for the safety of the people he can have my driving prejudges taken. Through this whole thing I’m telling him I have a suicidal problem taking any of that type of medicine!!I told him, Dr Chow has been treating me for side effect of having a tumor taken out of my brain stem, with Medical Marijuana. All pharmaceutical drugs for Pain, psychotropic, and seizer. Bring on side effects up to suicidal thoughts. This is all I have left to use. Then he said you should have waited for the other Doctor, he has a better understanding of seizes! He doesn’t really understand giving some body the wrong med could do. By now we have gone back and forth about me being hurt at work and he keeps saying were not going there. Then he said why did you even come here! I was a little uncomfortable when he showed me a cat scan with no contrast on a phone I can’t even see. He would say explain how you had gotten hurt! Being I struggle every day trying to talk. He keeps stopping what I'm trying to say! Then he would ask again and when I said anything about the Job I was hurt at. he would say were not going there! I have no left jaw mussels to talk with. It takes more than most people could comprehend what it takes to live with this. what talking to other people is like. But to have a doctor in a hurry tell me over and over were not going there and I was hurt on the job. I have been dealing with this for over 60 years ,with a memory of it from child hood. Even when I mentioned I was home less because of the company, Robert Day at Southgate Towers, on Nicholson, just firing me because I was hurt and wouldn't get back on a nine-story building. Between Dr. Gerald Calegan's and Robert Day after he fired me! he hired an ex prison warden Patrick Robertson that run me in the ground, would not look at the Emergency room report the hospital and he had me carry and then get on a 14-foot latter and would not let any of the other guys help me! Had a cop bothering me so for mine and every body’s safety I left Louisiana and staying around Washington DC. “Robert Day Southgate’s Towers owner Heavy “Alcohol/pain pill. Right after I started to work for Southgate’s Towers Robert Day owner told me. Judy, wife beat on the kids, when she was pregnant so they would stay by her, sad! and his Mother was trash, she made him short, bold and fat! When I corrected him of that cruelty! He then told me I should hate my mother because I was born with a neurological problem." I never touched another one of his personal things or talk to Judy". About a week being there I told Lacy & Tammy there beating on my ceiling, she told Robert. That’s when I found out he does nothing! When I told my boss Lacy The scares on my head hurts. She went to Robert., Robert sent Tiger to tell me I’ll be paying $500 out of my $600 a month pay check and I better go find some place to stay. That’s when Robert Day owner hired Patrick Robertson prison warden to do what they did. They have over Ten years of work complaints on Southgate’s roofs with nothing really fixed. They bought buckets for the tenants to catch their water! They received a lot of money from FEMA more than once and wound not fix the roof so it would stop leaking.

Well I would have been in a care facility for the last 11 years if I didn't have the surgery. And it is an often performed surgery so the risks are lower. Statistically you have greater odds of dying in your car. If no doctor is going to play god with your life riddle me this: have you ever been vaccinated for measles, mumps etc? Ever taken antibiotics? Ever had surgery? Because they are all examples of docs playing God. And I can almost certainly say that if you felt as terrible as I did 11 years ago, you would have taken the surgery if offered.

I have been living with Parkinson's for 10 years. Hopefully this procedure will help me when I really start to deteriorate. It doesn't always work for everybody. If it doesn't help me, or I don't qualify for the treatment, I'm going to kill myself. But not while my service dog Crixus is still alive. He's a six-year-old American Eskimo Dog and the breed typically lives into the teens. Many even make it to 20 or 21. I figure we might have as much as ten years. I'll tough it out till then, but when he goes...I go.

I feel your pain dude, I really do. I'm now in the early stages of Parkinsons Disease Dementia (the gift that keeps on giving bad times). DBS is like a giant bandaid across motor symptoms provided you have the type of PD and symptoms for which it is a viable treatment. But for sure Hallucinating in a corner with no control over my body is not something I'm going to stand

@@AndrewJohnsonNZ I'm sorry for your condition, Andrew. Having watched and cared for my mom while she suffered with Alzheimers, I'm much more afraid of dementia than I am the motor systems, although both are horrible. I'm not afraid to die, but I am afraid I won't recognize the point at which my brain and logic tell me I should call it quits. I wish you well and I wish you peace.

I was diagnosed 2 years ago at age 63. Symptoms were tremor in right leg, loss of handwriting ability,My normally beautiful cursive writing was now small cramped printing and soft voice. I also had difficulty rising from a seated position and have balance issues. I started out taking only Azilect, then Mirapex, and then Sinemet. Several months ago I started falling frequently, hence the reason for Sinemet. During the summer of 2021, I was introduced to Health Herbs Clinic and their effective Parkinson’s herbal protocol. This protocol relieved symptoms significantly, even better than the medications I was given. After First month on treatment, my tremors mysterious stopped, had improvement walking. After I completed the treatment, all symptoms were gone. I live a more productive life. I was fortunate to have the loving support of my husband and family. I make it a point to appreciate every day!

@@iammdeepak1 it's a progressive neurological disorder, which slowly shuts down body and mind. It's not a static situation, as the disease progresses to ravage my brain, the methods of keeping symptoms at bay (medication and DBS) will lose their efficacy over time

My father in law suffers from parkinsons & Essential Tremors. He had DBS Surgery in July. (Deep brain stimulation) We recently had to turn his batteries off just to allow his brain to kinda adapt to the 4 leads, yes 4 leads and two batteries one on each side of his chest. Luckily he is doing okay. It's only for two weeks. When we cut them back on it's amazing how the body just Stops these symptoms. We are grateful people like you go public with this disease. We have somewhere to actually see what to expect. Thank you.

Only very occasionally! Still holding it together as much as possible, a lot slower mentally and physically but it has been 7 years since I had the first stage done. On the whole can't complain. Many adjustments to daily life required but you just got to roll with it and know that there will be good days, there will be plenty of bad days but if you live life like you mean it then you're doing the best you can.
