What time was Rather’s bulletin? King was shot about 6 CST and died an hour later. So CBS Evening News (6:30 and 7 Eastern) had already been on. So what Cronkite feed is this?

Jesus loves you and will fulfill you more than anything, I speak from experience, he wants a meaningful relationship with you, and you will find him if you seek him. Look up the abcs of salvation teenmissions on Google and it should be the first result, click what it says and read and do what it says, It’s not hard (and if it is ask God to help you), I promise you it’s more worth it than you could imagine. I’ll leave you with these verses… “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬-‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬ God Bless you and may The Lord Jesus guide you and teach you as you live your life. I pray he does and you let him guide you. Amen.

Was this newscast on the same tape as the weather channel cast, or did you switch to a different deck with the tape that had the Vanderbilt newscasts on it at the beginning of the video?

Arthur Bremmer who shot Wallace had considered shooting President Richard Nixon just a month before this when he was on a state visit to Ottawa, Canada. Bremmer had driven to Ottawa but observing the tight security by the Canadian RCMP and the US Secret Service he decided against it and returned to the US and decided to shoot Wallace. Bremmer was essentially unemployed and only had $2 dollars on him when he was arrested. When his car was searched it was found that he literally lived out of it. The source of the finances he used to travel, eat etc was never found.

As an acclaimed screenwriter, producer -- here is the problem - at the end of the first three minutes of this episode - i am bored to tears - you have to hook your audience early

I'll bet Bob Ubanks was thanking his lucky stars he had such an awesome job; he looked like he was having more fun than anyone! The '60s was a wonderful decade for me, of course, there were problems, but for me, it was an awesome time. Oh, how I miss those days!

For the most part, sobering, quality, content in U S television, from A-Z. I remember the sense of integrity and credibility it evoked (i e. the garden variety, run of the mill TV content). Even though the drama hawks, and sensation -oriented were probably around back then, that segment definitely wasn't the paradigm. I feel assaulted watching television today, as opposed to having well ordered and reasonably informed takeaways every day. The silly music, the loud volume, the low road indicia of today, by a fair, one to one comparison is discheveling, as opposed to preening and reinforced ordering of clear thought, and thinking. Were all these reactions because I was a kid between the the ages of 5-15 years old back then?ALAS.😢
