My personal favorite feature is the fact that the tachometer also reads the speed of the engine WHILST starting. Not just jumping up like a lot of cars and trucks do nowadays.

My 01 accord is closing in on 700K km, and starts right up at -15C. (As cold as it got in NJ so far this year). I'm waiting to see how it does if it gets any colder.

In camp up near chetwynd a few years ago, -42 Celsius without windchill in the morning,most of our gas ford trucks wouldn’t even start. Walked out to my 92 Civic Si,460 thousand kilometres on it,no block heater or nothing,fired up in about 5 seconds. The power steering pump was really grumpy and noisy for about 5 minutes but after that,I drove to town 😊

I just started my 1988 lincoln town car in 40° weather in florida after for sitting for 2 weeks started like nothing as long as you have a healthy engine good battery starter and good fuel any vehicle will start. My 1998 vw jetta doesnt start as good because no glow plugs and it has fuel bleeding back into tank but still its only like 4 secs then its fine. Modern vehicles unless its like -20 are fine evs well if they are left out they suck.

-40! a-a-a, help, halt! Then rapidly it's -23C only, and the real temperature is -18C only! What a crap!!!

Should also mention that the 80amp needs a 100amp cuircuit, level 2 charger for fastest level 2 charging of 19.2 kW less than five hours or lesser speeds and upto 180 kW DCFC or NACS Tesla charging. Of 80% in less than 30 minutes. You should also mention the new heat pump for extra temperature controlled range and more efficient operations. Mainly winter with the heater but summer AC to a lesser effect. One if the best features is the self parking which can always be a challenge in a van.

NOT -40. -23 is the temp, -36 is how it's feels on human skin due to windchill which still isn't -40. That's why the oil temps show -23, which is actually what the vehicles are starting in. I'm from Nova Scotia and it doesn't get to -40 there, ever. Try this in Alberta -36 not including windchill. What a clown 😅.

how come this truck has a detuned version of the 6.7? dont the pickups make closer to 500 horsepower?
@escanormurillo97428 күн бұрын
Longevity would be my best guess as less hp means less stress and less heat on components equating to less wear and tear

I remember testing for Volvo in the early 2000s they would test cars staring at -60 after letting them sit for weeks or with low oil or old oil. Packing snow on the hood and smashing into grill. It’s was torture testing. Start them up and immediately drive them hard. If you ever want a great snow vehicle get a Volvo.

It’s unreal how terrible the redesign 2023+ SuperDuty looks. The bed & bumper steps have ruined the body lines on this once great looking truck. I’ve owned SuperDuty’s from 2006 - 2019 and by far this is the worst looking of all time. Get rid of these steps. No one needs plastic bed & bumper steps. We now have a slip & fall issue because #Ford wanted to cut aluminum/metal. Increasing profits while customers get less quality.
