Something like this would be fun for a VR fighting game. Just add a scoring system for impacts (different scores for different body parts, and weighted by relative impact velocity), hand and head tracking in place of ballistic balls; and besides staying on it's feet, an additional set of goals involving contacting the character's hands and head at high speed against the player character's body (prioritizing body parts which give more score than they take; so for example, on a perfectly balanced fight, never aim for a headbutt since it will take the same amount of score as it will give); and adjust both the body part scores and stuff like reaction time and the other parameters you mentioned in the video to produce different fighters with different behaviors and difficulties.

What results do you get if you use the wrong group of animals, like for example, use lizards as the reference to animate dogs, or humans as example to animate birds?

Yes the dodging and stuff is cool, but his reflexes are superhuman. Use 2 sec preplanning with 0.5 sec of reflex and a big cone of "vision" where he can see incoming issues

the curb demo is kind of unrealistic. Normally you wouldn't accelerate but rather decelerate to avoid any damage to the wheels and yourself. Otherwise quite good!
